The extra pixels not only make everything sharper, but by default they make everything smaller.

I got this used and it barely had any scuffs, the display is perfect, no dead pixels or anything

While not as bad a problem as a non-functioning monitor or a monitor with completely dead pixels, this still would have been super distracting and annoying and it speaks to the quality of the monitor regardless of how I received it (used vs new)

9 months later, they are still bright, clear and have no dead pixels.

Individual pixels on a 1920 pixels per line tablet are almost invisible without a magnifying glass.

Out of the box, this display had one dead/stuck pixel in addition to backlight-bleeding on the corners and the top of the panel

I also received mine with a spot in the left corner, like a bad pixel or something but not that big of a deal to deal with returning
