EDIT - Second monitor arrived today; dead pixels in the right center part of the monitor
-
All of that is behind me now, I've decided to join the real world and get a display that is not glossy, not retina, not OLED, just good old fashioned pixels with a matte finish.
-
No dead pixels or image burn in
-
Four dead pixels in a row near the center of my screen means there is a noticeable black streak which is quite annoying.
-
The monitor comes with a displayport to mini displayport cable, and a USB 3.0 cable (it has 2 USB ports built in on the side, and 2 on the bottom). Finally, this Ultrasharp comes with a 3-year warranty with a fast replacement, which is great if you happen to get a dead pixel or something like that
-
Looks phenomenal, and was able to get HDR enabled on my Windows 10 box - however, there is a group of about three dead pixels in the top of the monitor, so I will be returning for a replacement; this monitor was handled with extreme care, so I know it either left the factory with them or was done in shipping
-
I couldn’t find any dead pixels, and there’s only minor backlight bleed along the bottom, left, and right edges (for thin monitors like this one, a little bleeding is pretty much unavoidable)
-
Also, NO dead pixels, NO backlight bleed, none of the panel issues that monitors can suffer from
-
No dead pixels, extremely thin bezels
-
Screen didn't have a single dead pixel or issue
-
Mine has zero dead pixels.
-
However, my display developed a black spot on the backlight (looks like a dead pixel) just a few days after getting it
-
I understand that they cannot guarantee zero dead pixels, but four together should have caused this screen to be rejected.
