Dell Ultra HD 4k Monitor P2715Q 27-Inch Screen LED-Lit Monitor

    • It is like having a retina screen from your macbook, but with a lot more real estate
    • If you are using this with a MacBook Pro with a USB-C port, I suggest connecting it to the monitor with a Mini Displayport to USB-C cable in order to have the best screen resolution and refresh rate
    • (my screen has a native whitepoint which appears to be closer to 5700K), and I love it
    • Its the densest desktop monitor you can buy short of a 5K or great screen.
    • That way, when I manually start those apps after starting up again, the Dell has had time to "wake" and the apps' windows open one the right screen
    • I have recommended this screen to a friend.
    • , I was interested because of the extra screen real estate I would gain in my daily activities
    • The packaging is solid and there is very good chance your screen will not get damaged during delivery
    • This display is a phenomenal deal for a pro monitor, and it's easily the best screen I've ever owned
    • The screen has minor scratches on it
    • The screen is vibrant, was easy to color calibrate
    • Screen would sometimes lose connection with mini DP
    • Beautiful matte screen and bezel
    • They give me more space on my desk without shriveling up screen output
    • That is not a bad screen
    • No problems, screen is nice
    • Great screen real state
    • A lot of fans of the matte finish, but I am one of the few that prefers a glossy screen.
    • The screen saver keeps going but the monitor does not sleep!2
    • This screen supports audio connectivity
    • I totally love this screen
    • , you will quickly realize that splitting all your screens up on a single 24" monitor with this kind of density is going to get tedious and you won't get any extra benefit to your new-found height capacity in the number of vertical pixels you could use
    • So the screen is running at 30Hz on my MacBook, you know ... its actually not bad, I read from the screen (A LOT) and for reading (PDF or web), text (aka Word), excel and various statistical softwares, the 30Hz are not bad at all
    • No defective screen, like others have mentioned
    • The screen is outstanding no issues, although we you first hook up the screen some of the DP connections are pass through and its not clear which ones are pass through
    • Screen LED-Lit Monitor, Black/Silver Stand)
    • So although I like the screen I cannot recommend it and wish I had not bought it.
    • Regardless of the outside trimmings, the screen itself is outstanding
    • I often had weird connectivity problems with it where the screen would be fuzzy or messed up until I unplugged and re-plugged it in.
    • This is the hidden gem of affordable 4K computer screens
    • It was missing the original packaging (which I would throw away anyhow) and the stand had some large cosmetic paint chips, but the screen itself was immaculate.
    • , the screen is beautiful, high pixel dense, and sharp, but also glossy
    • My son loves the big screen and the details of the
    • Unfortunately, the screen on mine had two dingy bands of yellow that split the screen vertically into thirds, and the edges of the screen were noticeably dimmer, creating a vignetting effect.
    • The screen flickers, and after 1-2 seconds everything comes back to normal
    • Great screen for the price
    • (and 4k resolution is not enough screen work space)
    • This screen is amazing in every other way.
    • Great second screen for my iMac
    • Text is as crisp as the macbook screen (minus the different coating).
    • I tried ultra-wide QHD monitors but the resolution is not quite there, and you are constantly reminded of the pixels when you go back and forth between a non-4K monitor to your beautiful retina screen
    • This has to be the best 4K screen for the price
    • I could not stay without it after I lost the screen of my first one.
    • I use it with a Mac and this is a solid retina screen now.
    • The screen is rather warm, which I happen to
    • As a professional photographer it is extremely important that I have a fantastic screen
    • On my 2014 Macbook Pro and display port, the screen is awesome.
    • and you can move windows to it, however the screen is just dead
    • The screen was really super crisp when it worked.
    • The screen was really super crisp when it worked.
    • The screen is outstanding no issues, although we you first hook up the screen some of the DP connections are pass through and its not clear which ones are pass through
    • For the reasons above, I chose to get dual 25" monitors with 2560x1440 resolution, spreading my windows in only split screen, not quad screen, and using 4 total windows for development
    • No defective screen, like others have mentioned
    • Very vibrant screen
    • The 27 inch version might also be a great choice but since the two monitors have the exact same 4K resolution, the bigger screen may look slightly less sharp.
    • AWESOME screen, looks as good as my macbook screen only a LOT bigger
    • The screen is bright and easy on the eyes
    • Gorgeous screen, solid Dell stands and connectors.
    • No problems, screen is nice
    • It's too bad, because I wanted 4k and the image really is brilliant, but I'm not going to pay $600 for slow screen refresh.
    • Also worth note:The new Macbook Pros have no trouble with the 4K resolution and can scale the screen appropriatelyFor old Macbook Pros, we can get 4K resolution with Mini Display cable (but not the one provided by Dell), however, we cannot scale the UI elements.
    • excellent monitor, great screen.
    • Actually, I was very suprised that I would like this having been spoiled by Apple stuff, but the screen quality and matte finish (not grainy on the 24") make this very easy on the eyes
    • My Macbook Pro screen does not exhibit this issue and is made to be much more compact
    • It is a beautiful screen
    • 24" is a bit of an overkill here, but I wanted HiDPI because there is no way I can use a non-"retina-like" monitor next to the iMac's gorgeous screen, and for some reason, manufacturers are so attached to the 4K label that they won't make smaller ones with very high PPI
    • The image is fine; good screen appearance
    • Works as my Lightroom/photoshop main screen.
    • No issue there, but something to be aware of if you prefer a glossy screen
    • Screen is bright and consistent and easily color calibrated
    • Great screen - sometimes will not wake up by moving
    • Attached is a shot of the screen next to my macbook 15" screen for comparison, pretty ridiculous.
    • The monitor usually gives me the black/white fuzzy screen (like a TV channel you don't get) for several seconds until it realizes it's connected to a laptop and goes back to normal
    • The screen is reasonably bright, colors are pretty good and the resolution is great, but not as bright or as great as other displays on the market
    • I have been spoiled by this sharpness and clarity that other FHD screens now look very dull and reading on them is not comfortable at all
    • This screen is beautiful and crisp.
    • The screen isn't super-glossy like an iMac screen, but it's not dull like a cheap screen either
    • I though my imac had a good screen until I turned this thing on
    • The giant screens are great if you use it as a TV, but for regular computer use or games, I find the larger monitors tire my eyes too fast
    • Large screen is bright and clear
    • For the price, this is a very good quality 4k screen.
    • The only time the screen is hard to see is when the sun is directly on the screen from behind, but that is mostly due to reflection
    • This is a great screen to look at
    • The screen is beautiful
    • The screen isn't super-glossy like an iMac screen, but it's not dull like a cheap screen either
    • The screen would freeze for a few seconds then just flash.
    • 400$. Complete garbage, this screen
    • The screen is very sharp
    • Also this screen every corner is much brighter than the rest of the screen, some people call it light bleed - much, much worse than the iMac (near perfect)
    • After I created a custom resolution in SwitchResX for 52Hz, the screen was beautiful
    • I now keep it on 24/7 set the screen saver to blank(Black screen) for 90 seconds and never worry until it burns itself out and by then I will have purchased another monitor and have it ready as an immediate backup
    • Clear and colorful screen in 4k while plugged in via DP.
    • The color and resolution are excellent, but this model has a serious problem: it freezes up about half the time when you put the computer in sleep mode, or screen saver mode
    • Lovely screen, very easy set up, plenty of pixels
    • Would I like an even bigger screen, sure, but considering cost and how close I am to the screen with my set up, this does the job.
    • The screen would only work for 5 minutes before going into "Energy Saver Mode
    • I used Xrite color i1Profiler to color correct the screen, but its limiting to the adjustments you can make on the dell monitor itself, I found myself stuck with being a tad to bright or a tad to low on the brightness scale, there was no in between, so i will still be using my histograms in editing so things are not too
