    Dell UltraSharp U2412M 24-Inch Screen LED-Lit Monitor

    • Excellent display as many customers and reviewers said
    • The newest model has a narrower bezel but in actual use the area around the edge of the usable display area is the same
    • Excellent graphics display, perfect color, brightness and contrast.
    • The screen is sharp and color display is accurate out of the box, at least as compared to the default Apple display settings
    • The only downside is no HDMI.Fabulous bright and clear display, highly recommended.
    • This one has proven quite good, steady and evenly lit (LED) display
    • The display is sharp, bright, and the colors are good.
    • If you are looking for a great display that is 24 inches and 1920x1200 in resolution, this is the monitor you are looking for.
    • I guess I was lucky with the specific monitor I received because the display is beautiful.
    • The display is good
    • " IPS monitors is really fun, and I never knew how great it could be having a dual display set up
    • Love the display.
    • Great price for this monitor with ultra sharp display and all the tilt and screen positioning features.
    • It looks excellent at wide angles and has as clear crisp vibrant display
    • Display is nice and bright.
    • After 3 1/2 years of use, the display died on me within a day
    • I so wish that one could by smaller, high resolution monitors, the pixels are just way too big on this one for decent text display
    • The display is gorgeous and the 1920x1200 is way better than the standard 1920x1080
    • Relatively small (footprint) and rotating the display is easy in a clockwise motion.
    • BUT WHY do they put a stupid display port on it
    • What is really great about this display is the versatility of movement - it can swivel without the base moving, it can move vertically, tilt and do a 90 degree rotation.
    • Bottom line, the Dell U2412M monitor provides a beautiful display for a moderately priced IPS monitor with many easy options for adjusting the OSD should you find it necessary to tweak the image more to your own liking
    • Very nice display
    • OnUsing these, the display looks beautiful
    • There is now way to connect HDMI Devices to the Display Port on this Monitor (see the link below)!I was told by Dell Tech and Sales Reps that this was possible but there are no cables or adapters that accomplish this (they only work in reverse, Display Port to HDMI).Dell U2412Pros:
    • An entry-level monitor with cheap materials with a great display
    • but occasionally you do come across a game that stretches or doesn't look right even when proper display settings are in place
    • Beautiful colors, bright display
    • Beautiful display, arrived on time, set up easy, would recommend.
    • Very attractive display, much better than my previous 1920x1200 Gateway
    • Still, the display is bright and the color is excellent
    • Nice display!
    • Excellent monitor with outstanding display
    • When you rotate the display the cables are dragged with it and may hang on nearby objects
    • Easily displays two tax returns side by side - the extra pixels make it a far better display for business use than the usual wide screens.
    • Then I started looking at the quality of reviews for higher end monitors and realized the the bright brilliant displays I got a deal on at $129 a piece were not cut out for 4+ hours of steady use
    • Clear, crisp display and high resolution are ideal for working with lot of content at once
    • The display is flawless to my eyes.
    • every display I have ever bought had HDMI on it, why they chose to include VGA and Display port but not the much more common HDMI confuses me
    • Very bright, and crisp displays, colors match, and are vibrant
    • It is used as a desk-top display for my MacBookPro 13" with a Mini Display Port to DVI Adapter
    • The display will blow you away if you are coming from a TN panel
    • This display is gorgeous and perfect for gaming
    • The display is simply amazing
    • I am not a "dead pixel hunter," so cannot comment on that aspect, other than to say I don't see anything amiss and the display looks GREAT!The monitor is a few pounds heavier than the
    • Display and resolution is great.
    • The display is totally unusable.
    • I'm able to make the display nice and dim, much dimmer than other monitors that I use
    • This setup works perfectly for me, and I don't seem to be having problem other people described with this setup (as display not going to sleep, or going to sleep after couple of minutes of usage).Using Macs, I really like the view angle of IPS technology, and this display performs just as well as my MBP display
    • I like the bright display and cooler operating temperature of the LED display over the older monitor
    • Overall I think it's a great display for the money
    • At this price, this level of image quality and Dell's reputation of building stellar displays, I don't see how you could go wrong
    • Great Display
    • Admittedly, adjusting it is somewhat of a hassle, and my settings aresubjective, but if one is willing to do some tweaking you'll get a nice looking display.
    • Even though this display is relatively inexpensive, I consider it professional-grade.
    • This is a great display.
    • I like the display and low energy condumption of this 24 in monitor.
    • Great display right out of the box
    • The greater than 1080, 1200 horizontal scans ensures that even small text is well displayed and the COLORS!!
    • Also I have read complaints about the screen coating, but I also have no problem with that as I am used to matte displays and prefer them
    • The negatives: The anti-glare coating gives the display a sparkle effect that makes it look dirty all the time.
    • it warms up and also bakes your forehead!I had to reduce both the contrast and the brightness below 40% to save my eyes from irritation during long working hours, a cheaper display could offer me more than enough here if it was offered in the 16:10 aspect ratio and adjustable stand
    • Great display
    • The only downside is no HDMI.Fabulous bright and clear display, highly recommended.
    • The display is sharper, too.
    • Very frustrating when next to a properly functioning model displaying clear, crisp whites
    • Very happy with the purchase and the display is wonderful for a photographer that doesn't have money to burn.
    • I would recommend as a very good display for the price.
    • It's definitely an excellent choice if you're looking for a good quality, relatively cheap display.
    • Many have suggested that the poor displays are related to the Revision Number.
    • Fantastic display
    • I love this display and the anti-glare coating
    • It has an excellent display
    • Display is crisp and clear enough that I can stare at it for hours when I am programming or doing homework
    • Has great display & worked fine for months on my Mac
    • His display is also beautiful.
    • Don't get me wrong--the Dell visual display is beautiful, but I have been spoiled by the apple displays
    • Great display, easy to connect, built in USB.
    • Don't get me wrong--the Dell visual display is beautiful, but I have been spoiled by the apple displays
    • Got the monitor and the display is beautiful
    • Good 1920x1200 display
    • Very correct images and color displays for printing photos
    • When you spend all day in front of a monitor, you want it to be a good display like this one.
    • Beautiful, bright display with no dead pixels, and perfect size
    • I love this display and the anti-glare coating
    • The display looks very good when using the DVI input, and pretty good with the VGA input
    • It's definitely an excellent choice if you're looking for a good quality, relatively cheap display.
    • nonetheless, a great stopgap until the market for proper, modern "4K" displays matures.
    • The 24"s bring so much to the table and I love 16:10
    • Will update with negative s only, but don't expect this to be necessary.
    • Especially plain white surfaces, like web pages, would shimmer a
    • The anti-glare surface is like the other Dell AG screens I've seen - and to my eyes, works as it should - I don't have to dim the lights to see what I want to see.
    • However, the picture is really not as sharp as I would think "Ultra Sharp" indicates, although I suppose you get what you pay for
    • It's not quite as sharp as I had hoped for (noticeable with smaller fonts) but good value considering the reasonable price.
    • I've had several LCD monitors in the past at home as well as at work
    • Not as accurate as an EIZO as it's been compared to, but very close and a much better value for most applications in a design, retouching, or prepress environment
    • Also excellent for gaming as well as for productivity purposes just overall great monitor.
    • Mine isn't as bad as
    • I've owned several Dell UltraSharp displays and found them to be nearly as good as my Apple Cinema Displays, if not just as good
    • Rather than price, I was more bothered with second cons as I needed a single computer in home as well as in school with all required softwares for my academic work which I might need to access anytime
