Productivity-wise is excellent, the extra-space is very useful and the resolution makes the text very sharp
-
The resolution for gaming is fantastic.
-
The resolution on this screen is incredible.
-
The resolution is great, as is the color for my use (business, programming etc).Have added a photo of this monitor on a 24" deep by 60" long (smallish) desk - leaves plenty of space for my needs
-
The resolution is excellent.
-
Resolution aside, ultra wide screen is not as impressive as you think (unless you are a gamer).
-
Just move it closer -- the resolution is good enough for it.
-
Pros: Big, comfortable resolution for text and desktop real estate, height / tilt adjustments, many input, functional speakers, and works nicely for gamingCons
-
I'm strongly considering getting one of these for home, although the insane resolution may not be as good for home applications as work applications
-
Quick loading, handles many windows on same large screen, many adjustments to improve viewing, very good resolution.
-
The monitor's resolution is great ( should be for 4K monitor and for the money) , but I advise/warning designers to stay away from the curved screen monitor and to buy standard flat screen monitor
-
Great resolution and excellent quality
-
Very good screen but not a lot of games/movies support this resolution
-
In addition to my 3 year old graphics card handling this monitor, my 2009 Macbook Pro gets full resolution as well through the miniDP cable (included)
-
This would be my dream display...if only the resolution were better.
-
The resolution is nice, although I wish it was a full 4k instead of only about 2k
-
And I would have happily purchased another monitor more similar in dimensions to my HannsG but there were few to choose from with a resolution greater than 1080P (the HannsG is 1920x1200) since that's no longer in favor.
-
Love the monitor size and resolution when used with my computer, but it didn't last more than 6 months
-
Perfect resolution for daily work as well as gaming
-
and I can work without thoughts of insufficient resolution or wrong colors
-
what).Couple final thoughts regarding the resolution and the wide format: You actually run the View setting with these high res monitors at 200% to give you the same look at feel as a std monitor
-
Amazing resolution for the size
-
real estate/great resolution/color-Amazing for spreadsheets and working between multiple documents/
-
Color repro in Photoshop is excellent, it's sharp and bright with a great viewing angle, and the resolution is wonderful
-
I gave two stars only because of great resolution/colors, size and monitor appearance
-
Also, the resolution makes working with certain programs really easy, as you can spread a window out over the equivalent of 3 monitors, or run 3 windows side by side
-
While gaming I am either using a windowed mode in the center of the screen or if the game supports the resolution I am focused on the center of the screen
-
The monitor was able to daisychain to my 4K monitor just fine and didn't distort resolution at all.
-
It isn't too heavy, it is very stable, and the resolution is great
-
It was a great monitor and actually had higher contrast ratio (VA panel), but the colors and clarity of the Dell blows it away.. not to mention a perfect resolution
-
Something that always supports the resolution is modern operating systems
-
4 vertical splits + some area for a terminal in great resolution
-
Love the wide display and the extremely sharp 3440 x 1440 resolution
-
not that bad, the resolution is beautiful and the stand is well made
-
quality product, great resolution and makes multi tasking easier
-
However, the stand's footprint is quite small, the angles you can turn it are wide enough, and the resolution and brightness are good
-
I'm strongly considering getting one of these for home, although the insane resolution may not be as good for home applications as work applications
-
The resolution is awesome
-
Best monitor I have ever used - great resolution - highly reliable and of course plenty of real estate..
-
I also play flight simulators and 21:9 aspect is good for eye candy, but not for high g maneuvers where you would like more vertical resolution
-
i noticed none of my games have the aspect ratio 21:9 in graphic settings, but the native resolution is available and supported 3440*1440p
-
Outstanding resolution and functionality
-
The resolution is perfect for its size.
-
: I forgot one thing about the game support for 3440X1440, COD11 is originally NOT support this resolution, instead, it will show up a wierd 21:7 ratio, just as usual sadly
-
The Macbook Air has no problems pushing this resolution
-
I'd love for Dell to be proactive in helping users who spent almost $800 on their monitor to get some satisfactory resolution to their issues.
-
The only difference would be the newer version the 3517, which supports the 38xx x 16xx resolution.
-
Fantastic resolution and the space!!
-
is a great size, and I found the resolution comfortable to work with for the basics (web browsing, emails, etc).I like the adjustability on vertical and tilt - was easy to reposition as needed.
-
Flexible connections, high resolution, curved screen
-
The resolution is fine though not exactly Retina
-
The resolution is outstanding
-
Beautiful picture, great resolution
-
Very crisp, great resolution.
-
love the resolution, and only one GPU!
-
For gaming, the extra-width gives a much more immersive effect no matter what game you play, provided it supports ultra-wide resolution (which most do nowadays).
-
And the resolution is absolutely awesome.
-
Resolution good for HD
-
The awesome resolution allowed me to easily see much more content than I could with my previous monitor.
-
Nothing beats spending hours on google hunting for a wallpaper that doesn't look like pixelated garbage because no one makes wallpapers sharp enough to satisfy the monster 3440x1440 resolution
-
This is a great monitor for high resolution graphics and photo work
-
Cons:*The resolution is far inferior to 5k models...and seems to me to be less than many 4k displays I have seen, including the Thunderbolt.
-
I was so wrong, the 4k monitor was oK, great resolution, but the icons are so small, you need a 40" 4k monitor to make it worthwhile.
-
It’s far superior to Microsoft’s method of slamming tabs to the edge of the screen
-
Amazing monitor, better than two 24"s and don't have to deal with the Matrox dual monitor hardware anymore for my laptop.
-
n’t recommend it
