    Dell UltraSharp U3415W 34-Inch Curved LED-Lit Monitor

    • Like everything electronic, eventually these wide screens will come down in price.
    • Well, I think you know where I'm going with this, the curved screen on this U3417 is designed to keep the image at same distance on the sides as well as center screen, and it WORKS, plain and simple
    • That is the most important, but on top of that, the screen just looks great
    • I love this screen
    • DO NOT purchase the curved screen monitors for CAD work, the flat screen may be better if you are into CAD or some photo/drawing applications
    • Very good screen but not a lot of games/movies support this resolution
    • This screen is glorious
    • In general it is a nice screen.
    • Love the super wide screen
    • The available screen real estate is just wonderful
    • This is the perfect monitor for using a split screen.
    • Some reviews talked about the light bleed when on a dark screen
    • I've been using this screen for a couple months and love it more than my multi-widescreen monitor setup at work
    • I tried splitting the screen into two 1720x1440 halves
    • I love having a single screen to work on
    • This is one nice screen - its worked well with all of our devices.
    • Wow, love this screen
    • My biggest concerns with the lg was the quality control, the early 34um and uc models were showing up on reviews with crazy screen bleed or half of the panel failing
    • Love the way everything is packaged in the Dell box, well laid out and the screen is well protected.
    • My only gripe would be the included software which allows you to split the screen into different sections for productivity
    • This monitor provides just slightly more usable screen space as a pair of 1920x1200 monitors on a beautiful, seamless 3440x1440 display
    • I like the ultra-wide screen and
    • This screen is very good for internet browsing and Photoshop work or any art Work.
    • The screen is wide (great), but Windows has not caught up
    • This screen was great until it broke.
    • I get very little screen tear and sometimes stutters
    • but since I do a lot with spreadsheets, various documents and power point presentations, the small screen is an annoyance for working on at my home office.
    • Studying and doing homework using the dell software that allows you to split the screen in to compartments is very useful in multitasking
    • I will also say that it's really only noticeable on a pure black screen
    • Dell’s easily accessed software can create up to 19 ways to split your screen
    • I just deal with it because I like a big screen
    • Great screen, very sharp image.
    • The screen is just stunning
    • I play Zombie Army trilogy on this with a GTX980ti, on max settings its amazing, Also this screen is veery sharp and clear when you do homework, reading texts is very clear and comfortable
    • Sometimes, I'll have just two windows in split-screen, or overlapping 2/3 screens when appropriate and both need to be extremely wide, such as watching log files or a browser with a page inspector turned on
    • Curved screen - is it a gimmick
    • The picture is great and having the wide screen is incredibly helpful with work.
    • The colors are excellent, and the tool Dell includes for splitting up your screen real estate is surprisingly good.
    • Love this screen.
    • Very good and nice quality screen
    • The internal software that the monitor comes with is extremely easy to navigate as well as customizable in that you can set 'hot keys' to switch between sources as well as even being able to do multiple forms of screen splitting including PIP, split while maintaining aspect ratio, or taking advantage of the full screen real estate which often distorts images unless for some reason you're running two 4:3 sources into this beast, which well, if that's you... yay for you
    • Seemed huge at first, but now makes other screens seem cramped.
    • A single screen is so much smoother to work on
    • Awesome screen and the price is worth it
    • For this purpose, this screen looks ridiculous good
    • It has the best screen that I have seen on a wide screen monitor.
    • Yes, there is a tiny bit of backlight bleed in the corners but you can't tell at all unless the monitor is on a pure black screen
    • Great screen - very sharp text, bright and easy to work with all day without visual fatique
    • The overall screen real-estate that I had on the split screen was larger, but the single monitor capability for gaming and movie watching on this monitor is far superior
    • I shut the display off and use screen savers as precautionary measures
    • So although I think it is a bit high, it is a bit more reasonable in price than before and is a beautiful screen combine with a lot of useful features, although some of the features are a bit quirkier than others and some of the menu options are in awkward locations and a bit more time consuming to access and use than they should be.
    • Sometimes, I'll have just two windows in split-screen, or overlapping 2/3 screens when appropriate and both need to be extremely wide, such as watching log files or a browser with a page inspector turned on
    • beautiful screen!
    • Doesn't naturally fill the full 34" screen without lowering the resolution but happy with it so far.
    • I don't regret the decision at all and it feels like using 2 monitors without the disadvantage of a bezel splitting the screen
    • Dark screens bleed a lot and can be distracting
    • The 21:9 screen is excellent for gaming and makes the game more immersive
    • This screen was great until it broke.
    • the Dell isn't quite as uniform corner to corner as either of my LG monitors...the lower right especially has a bit of falloff - if you display a pure white screen, you'll see an area of maybe a quarter inch being a bit darker than the rest of the screen
    • If you want high end nice , good sound, great screen ...buy.
    • There's nothing quite like filling this beautiful screen up with a good game (currently Titan Souls from Steam)
    • The screen is wonderful
    • Resolution aside, ultra wide screen is not as impressive as you think (unless you are a gamer).
    • What a beautiful screen
    • Broken screen
    • Beautiful quality and sharp screen
    • Also, there is a bit of back light bleed at the corners with the lower left hand being the worst-- not terrible but noticeable above the ambient backlight glow on a very dark screen.
    • You will see some light bleed if the screen is all black but that does not bother me at all.
    • I like the screen after a bit of calibration, but would probably love it if it didn't have any AG coating.
    • I still love the large screen and its still my main screen right now
    • On a dark screen (e.g. screen saver, computer sleeping but monitor on) I can see some white lighting / lighter areas around the side edges or corners
    • It is an awesome screen.
    • It also does split screen and
    • I love this screen, and really there is no going back
    • Amazing screen, great design, enough ports
    • Wonderful screen to perform computer modeling of proteins
    • Second: the intenral screen cracked when I moved it to change cables
    • The curvature is very natural, I have no problems scanning the screen back and forth
    • Beautiful screen
    • The performance of the monitor is excellent and even at nearly $1100, I consider it a very good value, even though two 27" monitors would be considerably less and slightly more overall square inches, not having the bezel as well as one contiguous screen is well worth it to me
    • The performance of the monitor is excellent and even at nearly $1100, I consider it a very good value, even though two 27" monitors would be considerably less and slightly more overall square inches, not having the bezel as well as one contiguous screen is well worth it to me
    • But, once the DDM was installed on a Surface Pro 4, the screen would randomly go dark for a few seconds and then back on and a minute or two later repeat.
    • I write a lot of code and this screen makes it easier to be able to see multiple applications at once.
    • Cosmetically, the 34" screen is very nice
    • I realized that with an ultrawide, I would end up getting pretty good screen real-estate (which is what I wanted
    • Haven't notice the bleed that people talk about and the screen is crisp and easy to read small text.
    • For productivity, this thing is a major boost to my workflow with enough screen real-estate to put up 3 full-sized windows for browsing, word-processing, etc.
    • As they are, up under a "lip" and obscured the screen has to been tilted or turned upside down.
    • The monitor comes with software which allows you to split the screen into various configurations which are perfect for Photoshop or working with multiple programs
    • the snap feature works well for splitting the screen in half.
    • One version of the DDM user manual showed a screen that allowed you to select an input source directly via DDM and assign hot keys (not the hot buttons on the monitor face, those work) on the keyboard to select the source
    • While the screen was beautiful, I could not find the right setting to combat the eye fatigue I experienced while using the Dell
    • Flat screens are just too dull and don't provide the sense of immersion that a curved screen provides
    • Loved the way the screen was so easy to attach to the base with no tools.
    • I'm also very happy with the most important part of the monitor - the screen
    • This monitor has a very serious flaw - the space between the external protective screen (the one you can touch) and the actual led-pixels is not sealed
    • Screen Led-Lit Monitor has exceeded my expectations.
    • The screen's anti-glare coating makes it a little easier on your eyes in a bright room (though for ultimate image quality, I usually prefer a glossier screen)
    • The screen is awesome
    • This monitor gives me both the screen space I need to be uber productive and no break between two screens
    • The screen crashed not long after purchase (black with lots of
    • Photos: The screen doesn't look as good in photos, even with a 16mp mobile phone camera
    • I have used this screen for gaming and developing software and it works flawlessly
    • Really beautiful screen.
    • While the screen is beautiful, my issue is the Apple support, which is NONE.
    • In one of the review someone said Dell makes a great product--they were so right-- great screen and super attention to quality --Love it
    • I put up several solid color screens (from white all the way to red and navy blue) to check for evenness, and noticed no banding, blotchiness or other faults.
    • Cons: Not a negative but an observation that with a dark/black-ish screen in a dark room (at night with lights off) then panel light can be seen
    • are poorly positioned on the bottom right corner where its easy to unintentionally switch off the screen when trying to move/reposition the screen.- I prefer the speaker and volume controls on my Macbook - adjusting volume is one click on the Mac
    • , Here's why: My 30" U3011 is great, I love the real estate it offers for editing or having side by side windows up, but a screen that big on your desk is almost TOO big and you constantly move your head, not just your eyes, to take the whole thing in
    • Gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous screen.
    • The only slight negative is that the screen feels very bright to me
    • Anywhere you look on this super wide screen, it's always at the perfect angle
    • The wider screen makes multi-tasking a breeze
    • It is so much better than Microsoft’s split screen application in my opinion
    • It’s far superior to Microsoft’s method of slamming tabs to the edge of the screen
    • Amazing monitor, better than two 24"s and don't have to deal with the Matrox dual monitor hardware anymore for my laptop.
