Overall, pretty good laptop
-
Upon receiving the package in a beaten box, I realize that the laptop arrived without a charger and the flimsy plastic film protecting it was covered in lint
-
Also during this time the laptop has crashed twice while doing basically nothing... not gaming, not editing videos
-
Dell has produced a pretty solid laptop with this machine.
-
At the end of the day it ends up being a really powerful laptop that just falls short of being great if you intend to use it for gaming, except for older or less graphically intense games
-
After having the screen turned on for 20 seconds, I noticed backlight bleeding in the bottom right and bottom left corners, and the laptop itself was unstable / warped
-
This laptop is amazing and the best I've used in a long time
-
It’s fast, even before any optimization, it is the fastest laptop out of the box I’ve ever tried
-
Based on others suggesting using Intel's XTU program to underclock the CPU a bit for cooler and more reliable operation with no loss of speed, I reduced CPU voltage by .140v and have had it running that way all day today, with no problems whatsoever, and the laptop very quiet and cool
-
Other than that, this is a solid laptop, which I like more and more every day.
-
The XPS 9570 is probably the worst laptop experience I've ever had
-
Nonetheless all these problems are manageable and overall a great laptop.
