De'Longhi 15 bar Pump Espresso and Cappuccino Maker, Black

    • I bought these espresso cups for a pretty good price at world market and you honestly will have no problem finding the right cups
    • Yo do need to dis-assemble the cup portion to clear out the coffee oils that can clog the cup
    • They have altered the espresso filtration cups so its more like brewing a small cup of coffee through several holes instead of pressurizing the espresso through one hole
    • This lil machine gives a great cup of Expresso everyone!!!
    • For a budget friendly machine this is perfect, it makes a great cup of espresso, it's as easy as possible to use, and it fits just about anywhere
    • Works well and makes a good cup.
    • like others have said a great starter machine but not 1 to keep for life the space is so short you cant put anything underneath except shot glasses for the espresso... honestly the steamer is short too so you have to prop it up and have a shallower milk frothing cup to use properly
    • I was determined to figure out how to do this and enjoy a cup of cappuccino like I'd had abroad, but didn't want to spent $500 to $1000 or more to do it, especially since I was starting out.
    • Second is the frother, again really low height if you dont have a proper frother cup
    • This thing works and brews a nice cup of expresso (in my humble, inexpert, estimation)
    • Somewhat annoyingly, the machine vibrates so heavily when it makes espresso that you have to steady the cup with one hand, or else it will move to the left or right allowing the espresso to miss the cup.
    • The pump is noisy and vibrates the cup away from the espresso stream.
    • I have turned the machine so the wand is over the edge of the counter, that works, and I’ve also steamed the milk directly in my short/fat ceramic latte cup.
    • Very simple to use and a great tasting cup of cappuccino.
    • Makes a great cup of espresso, cappuccino and latte !
    • Compact, counter-top espresso machine makes me a tasty cup every day
    • It's a decent machine with a reasonable price tag that produces a decent cup of espresso or two.
    • The vibration is LOUD and moves my espresso cups out from where I place them (so it sometimes misses the cup and I waste a shot), but just keep your eye on
    • I read somewhere it can warm up your cup but not a concern for me
    • Makes beautiful cups of coffee
    • Since I almost always take my espresso with milk and sugar, I like making a very strong lungo cup, which this machine does well.
    • Next, warm the cup up a bit
    • It makes a great cup of espresso and it is very easy to use
    • It has a pressurized portafilter allowing you to not have a perfect grind but still get a halfway decent cup of coffee
    • This machine just does not have what you need to make a decent cup of espresso or a cappuccino
    • We love a good cup of cappuccino or a latte that we dont have to venture out for but don’t have 3-5 grand to shell out for a high end machine
    • But, it does make a pretty good cup of espresso and the color is right and the taste is right
    • Great cup of coffee.
    • It makes a perfect cup everytime and it is so affordable
    • it will flow perfect and give you the perfect cup every time!
    • Will work in shallow cup
    • Expresso no worries on the grind or how your tamping it ...this is a great lil inexpensive machine that makes a great cup of Expresso...and the investment of 99.99 is no comparison to the 400.00;we paid .. on the other one and had a lot of trouble
    • Hit the switch and just pull enough for a few sips, and then remove your cup and kill the flow - any more than that, and your coffee rapidly goes from sweet thick and Italian to thin bitter and French
    • First, the positive comments based on using this machine about 12 times with modifications along the way to attempt to get a good cup of espresso: easy to use, as far as the dials go; nice looking piece of equipment and doesn't take up much space; plus coffee does get delivered hotNow, the negative comments-overall this is just an expensive coffee maker:1
    • It makes a good cup of
    • It makes a great cup of espresso.
    • Coffee still gets super hot and the pump is as strong as the 1st cup
    • Easy to use and clean and produces a good cup of Expresso
    • Also it shakes a LOT when it brews, to the point that the machine moves a couple inches, as well as the cups, so there is a possibility of spillage.
    • THE GOOD• It really does make an EXCELLENT cup of espresso complete with the crema (which I never got out of my old machine)
    • Okay yes it does make a great cup of coffee but the prep time and clean up time is a lot for one cup of coffee and ergonomicly it could have been made a little better
    • Somewhat annoyingly, the machine vibrates so heavily when it makes espresso that you have to steady the cup with one hand, or else it will move to the left or right allowing the espresso to miss the cup.
    • It took about 3 tries for me to fine tune this machine for my "perfect cup" of cappuccino
    • It’s noisy, i still haven’t got a decent cup yet
    • I cleaned this thing regularly, And it made a good cup of espresso for about 6 months
    • I don’t have small enough coffee cups to use this machine
    • Every time the operation will be slightly different, but eventually you arrive at the same perfect cup
    • But I bought some 5oz stainless cups (like ones seen at coffee shops) and it works just fine.
    • The cup warmer is passive and due to the vibration and the steam knob on top storing cups on top is tedious.
    • I bought these espresso cups for a pretty good price at world market and you honestly will have no problem finding the right cups
    • I even used the 2 cup filter to make one cup and coffee was very weak
    • Fair (not great) cup of espresso (bitter is there but lack in flavor)
    • This thing takes forever to heat, doesn't have enough pressure and was never able to use a proper espresso grind- had to use drip grind- constantly needed part replacement, dripped like crazy and vibrates your cup right off the platform
    • Maybe they have higher ratings because the type of people who buy those things are also the type of people who are willing to invest the time, attention, and effort in producing a decent cup of expresso
    • The cups tend to vibrate forward
    • but once you get the hang of it you will end up with the best cup of cappuccino I have found outside of Italy.
    • with! This is a nice unit, does not occupy too much counter space, and makes a darn nice cup of cappuccino or espresso
    • It makes a decent cup of espresso
    • this machine will reward you with as good a cup of coffeeas the much more expensive machines
    • (don't use the one attached)Small 3oz clear cup
    • Arrived super fast and it works just as I expected, I made a great cup of coffee
    • I still haven't found a short enough coffee cup to fit under the espresso
    • The froth takes some practice, use a stainless still cup designed for the purpose (assortment of brands sold on amazon), fill to the 4 ounce line, you will also need a thermometer designed for expresso(many sold on amazon).
    • I use a small stainless cup & saucer, fits under both outlets, but 2 small ones work if you keep them from vibrating around
    • but now I'm making a pretty cup of Cappuccino
    • Brews multiple cups quickly, and the frother works well (though, it takes a little user skill to get steamed milk
    • If you’re into grinding your beans, tamping them down, holding your cups and watching while pouring, and cleaning the filter immediately after, then this is excellent for you.
    • This machine shakes my cups right out of line from the portafilter, you literally have to hold them the whole time to catch the espresso
    • Filter plate, plunger plate, rubber gasket, stainless cup, plastic nut/nozzle to hold it all together
    • I've gotten good cups using the plastic built-in tamper, but much easier to get the right amount of pressure using the metal tamper
    • (this was also happening when the machine is new, after cleanups etc)But all in all, can I make a good cup of coffee with this
    • I have had my coffee maker for almost 10 years now, and it is still Going strong, and making wonderful hot cups of espresso
    • Trying to make a cup of espresso was so frustrating that I didn't even use the milk steamer
    • You might have to steady the cup with ur hands as the shot is pouring
    • Fair (not great) cup of espresso (bitter is there but lack in flavor)
    • The only things I miss about my previous machine is that it had enough space to use my stainless steel "cup" to catch the espresso
    • You have to hold the cups steady under the spout or the rattling of the water pump will shake them off the device and your espresso will be wasted
    • The user will learn the art of the barista, and that a perfect "puck" will make the perfect cup
    • The espresso tastes very good, but the problem is that it vibrates too much when it is turned on and that causes the cup to slide away which means the espresso misses the cup.
