We have very minimal counter space as we live in a smaller condo, so this compacted design is perfect for us

There are many videos on YouTube showing how creative people have spent hours in their shops modifying these pieces of the machine and have improved the design and performance

Worked with DeLonghi customer support, who tried to be helpful, but the product is simply too badly designed/executed to be saved

The coffee inserts are kind of funny design, the metal screen is permanently inside the outside shell, and I don't know if they can be modified for non-pressurized espresso like the EC155 could, so I'll be looking for that next.

This is easier to run, faster to make an espresso, easier to clean, easier to put water in and is a much nicer design.

The coffeemaker itself has a great, sleek, compact design so it doesn't take up a lot of room

The design is certainly superior to many brands on the market but the functionality isn't quite worthy of the heightened price

It's impressively fast... and that's a good thing when you consider that you still have to spend a little time doing the "warming ritual" (i.e. running hot water through everything to ensure you get a great, consistent pull).The machine feels very solid, well built, and well designed
