This was not the case with De Longhi - awful customer service, lack of effort, poor communication, lack of follow-through and altogether bad experience.

Given the lack of a display, and the paucity of buttons, the mechanism for inputting preferences requires a careful reading of the manual, and even then its hard to tell if you indeed set the water hardness or other settings properly

These tips aren't specific to this machine, so much as espresso making in general... and a lot of the complaints I see on here (lack of crema, issues with using the steam wand, etc) are easily avoidable user error

I only hope it continues to look and work as well as it has

I foam the milk cold and then heat it on the stove, and although it isn't as hot as if it were steamed, it is perfect microfoam that lasts til the last drop!
