After a couple months of wonderful lattes, espressos, and cappucinos, it seems the pump quit working properly.

After about a week of practice, watching videos, and reading, I can finally say that this morning I enjoyed two wonderful espresso drinks from my new Delonghi EC680M DEDICA: a latte and a cappuccino

I really love this product and the lattes that I make with it at home.

It has metal in all the right places, looks good, feels good and reliably produces what I consider a very nice Latte.

If I come across a great flat white or Latte on my travels I maker a note of the coffee blender and later order a small quantity online to further evaluate

Makes a decent latte, but even with a thermometer, close monitoring of the bean grind, and doing everything correctly - no where close to comparing the to the local coffee shops

if you like cappuccinos, that might be fine, but I much prefer a latte.

; I never was able to figure out how to properly steam milk (may be because at the time I only tried milk substitutes like almond milk), so never was able to make a nice latte

If you want a good latte that isn't too foamy, simply remove the stainless still nozzle of the frother

Overall I'd say this is a great home unit for a person who is just looking for a delicious espresso or latte in the morning

He has had espresso all around the world and he's thrilled with what this machine produces and I am happy because I can make delicious cappuccinos and lattes for myself.

By the third cup, my lattes were coming out perfect, so I haven't changed any of the consumer settable settings.

I should also mention that I like my lattes hot and not lukewarm and the temperature with this is perfect

the steam wand, however, is a sticking point for me; you can froth milk, but you can't get a good latte texture.

I don't like Keurig coffee makers because of the product waste, plus you can't make a good mocha latte with those things

I feel the machine makes all froth and not a good drinkable latte.

good sine lattes don't require a thick foam top.

When combined with an appropriate grind, I can get a consistently good latte out of this machine

I get a good thick foam after 30 sec; mainly 4 oz of cold milk will froth up the full glass measuring cup for great latte

I foam the milk cold and then heat it on the stove, and although it isn't as hot as if it were steamed, it is perfect microfoam that lasts til the last drop!
