I haven’t missed my moka expresso maker since I started using this expresso maker and rightly so the taste is actually more satisfying and once I add the steamed milk and foam

After researching many of the more affordable espresso makers available, we chose this one because of its size -- we didn't want a machine that would take up too much of the precious counter space in our kitchen

but I believe only the expensive espresso makers have the kind of wands that make for consistent tiny milk foam

I have tried and either returned or threw out Saeco Via Venezia (temperature kept being off/inconsistent even if freshly cleaned and sent back for warranty work twice--very temperamental), Mr. Coffee bar espresso maker, Capresso EC Pro, and others

I foam the milk cold and then heat it on the stove, and although it isn't as hot as if it were steamed, it is perfect microfoam that lasts til the last drop!
