Denon HEOS 1 HS2 Wireless Speaker (White) (New Version), Works with Alexa

    • The Heos 1 is pretty weak, with flat sound and little bass or treble
    • Although I read that the Sonos bass range is better, the Heos mid and high are very crisp and the bass is not forced.
    • The HEOS 1 is fun to listen to.
    • Overall I still haven't decided if I am keeping Heos or Sonos, but am currently leaning towards Sonos just because the app is so much easier to use and more reliable, plus the EQ tuning which really can improve the sound
    • So I would highly recommend the HEOS 1 and was very pleased with accessories4less.
    • While it doesn't sound as good as the HEOS 1 (partially due to its smaller size
    • I really, really wanted to like Heos
    • I have a somewhat critical ear and prefer the HEOS
    • only did the Heos lose all recollection of having been connected to my network, so did my iPhone 6+, my 2015 MacBook, my 2011 17-inch MacBook Pro, my 2009 Mac Pro
    • When the HEOS app is working well, the system is easy to use, and due to the streaming over wi-fi, rather than Bluetooth, sounds great.
    • (AKA: revealed) my network and sure enough, the Heos app found it, connected to it, and Bob's-yer
    • Apparently HEOS has a limit of 300 songs.
    • I really want to like the Heos 1.
    • The final downside is you have to have a Denon receiver that is HEOS capable to truly get the full value out of your speakers and multi-room setup
    • If you are interested in superb surround HEOS is the way to go.
    • After about three months a red light o death appeared and it completely stopped working
