Just after 2 heat cycles the wrap itself became so brittle that it was basically crumbling as i touched it with my hands

Due to how the wrap is weaved, if you cut across for a shorter piece it will cause the entire roll to eventually unravel itself as you apply it

I'm using this heat wrap both to keep heat off my transfer-case and transmission where the down-pipe comes down right after the turbo, as well as to protect the down-pipe from vibration against the transfer
