The strings aren't bad

Terrible strings, shoddy finish, shoddy build and a painted fingerboard

This uke looks nice for the price however the strings sound bad

I have read a review that said they upgraded the strings and it worked better, but still.

No strings even broke after rigorous use and loud play

The strings are smooth, nice when you are strumming and playing a lot

The strings are a bit flimsy and the ukulele itself isn't very sturdy

but, I haven't replaced the string like many people have recommended, but I do notice a little more vibration then on when I first got it

Also you may want to get new strings, the strings on there now are, obviously, cheap

Gotta stretch the strings like crazy to have a chance to keep in tune

It is vitally important to read the reviews that say you need to break in the nylon strings to keep them in tune.

Took a few days to break in and keep the strings nice and tight and tuned but that's ukes

With my pocket knife, I gradually filed the notch a little deeper and now that string plays like the others.

I changed the strings myself watching a few you tube videos but it can be a little tricky handling the thicker strings because it is difficult to hold onto the tip while trying to twist the string.

I bought this as something to simply learn on as I'm a beginner, I purchased this on the 14th and received it on the 18th, standard shipping was fast, my only complaint is that the size of it almost makes it feel like a toy which I like and dislike, and I don't know if it just because the strings are cheap or not but the Nylon strings that come on this ukulele fall out of tune fast

As many others have pointed out, the strings that come with this are lacking,

I'm starting to feel how light and small it is, and how cheap the strings and bolts are

The Uke itself is a decent starter, although the strings are kind of cheesy, being they're color coded and all plastic strings.

My daughter loves it, and the included strings are great for the abuse she doles out on it

Like any uke, strings take a long time to set --- sometimes feels as if they never will.

It's a nice ukulele but the strings are horrible they stretch really easily, but i just went to a guitar store and bought new strings for $6 so in short, you get what you pay for!
