I think this is a great starter ukulele, the sound quality is decent, it comes in great shape and is very light

I bought this for my daughter as a cheap prop for an art project.

however, my daughter was SO excited to get her instrument and start playing - but the tuning knobs were not tightening the strings.. so we could not tune the uke.

I ordered this the beginning of January but my daughter was unable to begin lessons until February.

First, also buy a Snark Tuner (or one like it), as it will lose a tune after about 20-30 minutes of playing.

I've enjoyed learning to play and the Diamond Head has been a good starter uke.

These are also good for bringing something around to jam with (when you don't want to carry around a more expensive uke)

Was broken when I got it (the knobs to tune the uke were busted

There was a newspaper INSIDE it, the knobs were all stiff and every string refused to stay tuned for more than 5 seconds
