know if it’s be the best ukulele to learn on from scratch for a beginner, but it’s a fun instrument to take on trips, and hiking, etc.

I'm mostly a picker ranter than a strummer, so sustain is very important to me.

I didn't expect an excellent sustain on a uke with a plastic fretboard, but I was pleasantly surprised with the Woodi

It enjoys the outdoors and is substantially more durable than most other ukes, especially those with high end woods

You do need to change the strings on it though to like Aquilas or something

Frankly, I've been using Aquilas, but would like to try something a little mellower

A person could start out and try the uke out for very little and still have a decent sounding and playing instrument, even with the kind of crummy strings that come with it

And actually has a pretty nice sound even with the strings it comes with.

I've heard video reviews on YouTube of really amazing uke players getting a really good sound out of the woodi which is mostly why I bought it.

Gold fret paint chips easily, but good, rich sound

They accidentally sent me the wrong color

And loves that it’s a bright fun color

Got one of these yesterday, a different color, and just loved it

They responded quickly and sent me the correct color.

It's a plastic Uke, and that means it will NEVER be a great instrument.

So for someone who is skilled at playing string instruments and already has that finger strength, I think this is a really cool instrument to have.

Overall, this is a keeper, and a pretty darn nice instrument.

Overall, this was a very horrible experience, and I highly discourage getting this instrument

The smudging was very obvious, so if you want a perfect and new-looking instrument, do not buy this one.

But then, again, it is what it is, a pretty nice sounding plastic Uke for less than fifty bucks.
