know if it’s be the best ukulele to learn on from scratch for a beginner, but it’s a fun instrument to take on trips, and hiking, etc.

It’s a FUN little ukulele if your in the market for a instrument you won’t worry about getting damaged or wet

I really think that the Woodi sopranos are a great buy with a good sound if you don't mind the thicker neck.

Great for beginners and masters alike, overall a great buy.

Sounds less plasticky now and volume projects well

I do not have a wooden instrument to which I can compare the sound of this one, but the volume and intonation are nice, and I'm really enjoying playing it

This was easily enough fixed when I replaced it with an Aquila high G string.

A person could start out and try the uke out for very little and still have a decent sounding and playing instrument, even with the kind of crummy strings that come with it

I've heard video reviews on YouTube of really amazing uke players getting a really good sound out of the woodi which is mostly why I bought it.

I contacted the manufacturer and they kindly issued me a partial refund for receiving a faulty instrument

It's not bad for what it is - a cheap plastic uke.

But then, again, it is what it is, a pretty nice sounding plastic Uke for less than fifty bucks.
