It's completely plastic so pretty much impossible to ruin and it really is capable of making a pretty nice tone (if a little toy-like) for a durable ukulele at this price.

know if it’s be the best ukulele to learn on from scratch for a beginner, but it’s a fun instrument to take on trips, and hiking, etc.

and I was so concerned of the wood splinters and found this cute little ukulele and he loves it
