After using dremel tool to remove old material, area was cleaned and allowed to dry.

Clean the area your working on, squeeze a glob or stretch a line to cover the area of concern and the self leveling feature takes over

You need to clean the area that your sealing quite well to allow for the best adhesion.

Just have lots of rags for protecting and cleaning up as your using it and then know it will flow so you don't want to have something under the hole as you finish as it will drip through the hole and down on to whatever is under the hole.
