Just have lots of rags for protecting and cleaning up as your using it and then know it will flow so you don't want to have something under the hole as you finish as it will drip through the hole and down on to whatever is under the hole.

Perhaps I'm just not a professional and don't understand the proper use of a "lap sealant" (even though I watched the Dicor video on how to apply)

I have found that on clean up use wd-40 or something similar.

Somewhat thin, so may not do a perfect sealing job if there are leaking gaps that must be filled.

Dicor is the best sealant to use where a self leveling sealant is needed, such as an RV roof.

Great sealant if you are covering up any kind of holes or leaks on the roof of your rv, camper, trailer that has the EPDM style roof

and it's working much better than more expensive spray sealants which didn't last long

Stuff works great, the only downside is that it doesn't go as far as you would think.

Plus I will buy a battery gun in the future to keep a steady flow so my work looks alot neater.

This stuff really worked great sealing up the seams of my camper.

Caulked 3/4s around the skylight when the tube exploded and sealant leaked out around the cardboard and metal join of the tube.

Have bought several tubes of this stuff in the past, and have always been satisfied with the results.

Used about half a tube when I replaced the roof vent and about two tubes across the width of the 8’ wide front roof lap joint

I keep a fresh spare tube on hand since it is so inexpensive anyway.

I did the roof vent cover and now plan on cutting off all the rest of the ols seal on top of my trailer just to apply this since it was so easy to use and effective.
