What this thing does is use a very fine grit sanding disk to buff out minor surface scratches, which in theory is fine but in practice... not so much.

Understand that only light surface scratches will be smoothed.

I continued to use it with fair success on surface scratches and no success on kids DVD's that I had picked up at garage sales with deeper scratches.

Works of surface scratches don't expect a it to fit a totally trashed CD or DVD.

For CDs and game disks with surface scratches that may cause skips or lack of play-ability, it will solve problems with a few passes

I was able to fix the surface scratches and the CD's sounded and worked perfect after using the Disk Repair System.

You can remove ALL of the superficial surface scratches, and still have skips if there are DEEP scratches

It works for minor surface scratches

This does clean up the surface of the disc off very minor surface scratches from normal use over the years that could cause skipping on a dvd

I was skeptical that this was going to work, but it fixed a badly scratched Wii U game disk.

As long as one follows the directions (and this includes admonitions about not working well if too severely damaged, as well as if the reflective coating becomes scratched), it works every time.

I was a bit devastated when my PS2 started scribing a ring into some of my most beloved video games, but this little gadget saved ALL of them!All of the games that I played most often were pretty deeply scratched to the point where I couldn't even get a loading screen, but after using the SkipDr I was able to play them all good as

I wouldn't recommend this for any 360 accidents as it didn't work on three separate incidents for myself
