Overall it is a great usb

This is an awesome USB cable for the printer.

I prefer the retractable USB connector it has to those drives that has caps, as there is no cap to lose (another plus for this drive).The switch to retract the connector is a bit small, though, but this is a very minor complaint for a reliable and cheap drive.

USB 3.0 is ideal for transferring large video files or backing up large amounts of files

I am using them as bootable recovery drives for my various computers so USB 3 is unnecessary since some of the older computers don't recognize their USB 3 ports when they first boot up.
