Got this for the bedroom, works great, easy to see in the dark.

The remote works fine except for the back light function

Why pay more if what makes it more expensive quits working after a short time?

The remote works great.

The remote worked well....for two days then it stopped controlling the dvr and never worked again

The backlight works very well and love that the RC73 works without having to point at the DVR or TV directly.

Excellent worked perfectly right out of the package and I love the backlit buttons

The back light is very bright easy to read and the remote works just as well as the orig

This works fine - it should be the default unit for Directv.

This remote worked much better in our bedroom where it's obviously dark at night and hard to see the buttons of the original remote.

at first I didn't think they were going to pair with mini genies, Have patients because works better than the one that we got directly from Directv

These backlit direct tv remotes work well and should be what you receive when your system is installed.
