    • Flew it so high today that it lost signal (first time this happened to me) and I got a little scared for a
    • Even with the P3-A, I’ve lost signal
    • Calibrate as often as it takes, keep view of the bird at all times (if you can see it, it will not loose your signal)
    • To come home if it loses its signal from the transmitter, and with the new models coming out, to not exceed 500 meters in vertical height.
    • 6s Plus, I can set flight paths, easily control where the drone goes, and set a "safe path" home should the drone lose my signal ("safe path" = when you "call the drone home" with the push of a button, or when/if the drone loses your remote control signal, you pre-program the drone to go as high as it can, fly to its take off/home location (based on GPS coordinates that it stores at take-off), then have it come straight down
    • I have had the thing out 2700FT so far and because I am in a flat area with lots of trees I lose my sightline and the weak signal will
    • The DJI Go app along with my iPad Air2 is perfect for that and the Light Bridge technology allows flights up to 3 miles without losing the control signal
    • I was in an open sod farm and took it out to the end (2000 feet?) and started to get bad remote signal
    • 6s Plus, I can set flight paths, easily control where the drone goes, and set a "safe path" home should the drone lose my signal ("safe path" = when you "call the drone home" with the push of a button, or when/if the drone loses your remote control signal, you pre-program the drone to go as high as it can, fly to its take off/home location (based on GPS coordinates that it stores at take-off), then have it come straight down
    • If you run into trouble, or lose signal, or just want to use the bathroom inside the house, hit return to home and the P3 will return to home at a pre set height and land itself within a couple of feet of where it took off.
    • I bet, it can handle more as I still had good signal at that range
    • sometimes I have 16 sat lock whereas with P3 4K was only 6-8 much more confident flying "out there" knowing she can find her way home if I loose signal.
    • Tonight I had it a mile out over a Walmart's before I got a weak signal warning
    • While flying/recording above a church (well within the drone's safe range) the remote control lost signal with the drone
    • The Phantom 3 is really a quality built quadcopter, and has some great safety features, like the ability to automatically return to the home position and land if it loses signal with the transmitter
    • So far I have had this thing out to about 1.5 miles in a very heavily wooded and hilly area (400-500ft tall hills) before I begin to loose signal
    • On a very clear day, with no obstructions, I have been able to fly this out approx 3,000 feet without concern; then it gets a little "fuzzy" and I start to get the "weak signal" message.
    • Flying should be performed in an open area and miltiple objects that can obstruct the GPS signal
    • even flicker let alone lose signal.
    • It went half a mile and started to lost signals and video
    • I like this drone, good for close video clips and pics haven't used it in a few months would like something with more range
    • Also, it's pretty fast!I, also, recommend purchasing an additional battery or two for a full afternoon's worth of flying!
    • it’s designed for the pro as well as for the rank armature.
    • DJI went through a lot of trouble to ensure that this drone was easy to fly, do a little bit of the work and you'll ensure it works as it's supposed to
    • The time laps are approximately 5 seconds (as fast as you can, I'm used to the GOPRO 0.5 seconds). The only down side is the inability to waypoints, follow me, point of interest things the IRIS + and "SOLO" 3DR.And a dreadful STANDARD launch which becomes an insult to those who invest in the ADVANCED HD camera and STANDARD with 2.7K.In short they made me feel I wasted my money
    • If you cannot find this product prime eligible or shipping as fast as you would like from an approved seller it is WELL WORTH sucking it up and dealing with it, in order to retain your Warrenty! After the tutorials and firmware updating finally got it in the air and
    • As long as you read the directions and update the firmware, everything works as it should.
    • Also, very confused as to who the actual seller is as there is a different vendor listed here than in "My Orders".
