very loud alarms

We've since had 3 more fall off so I am removing them because there is no sense in having them if we think it's a false alarm again at 3am!

I also don't like the fact that when the window is closed, once it has been opened the alarm is silent rather than staying on to alert the homeowner.

now the alarms are falling off the doors - which are vinyl.

These don't stick very well, fall off the wooden window frames and alarm goes off, frightening, especially in the middle of the night

love these little alarms, great to place on windows and doors... needs a better adhesive but the alarm it self is small but loud

Two obvious problems with any window alarm like this: if an intruder keeps coming in , ignoring the alarm, they can then easily turn it off once they get in.

The alarm is a shrill noise that would be enough to stop anyone that is just checking for open doors for easy access; however, they are easy to turn off if it doesn't send the intruder running or if you accidentally set it off yourself.

I put several of these up on our double-hung windows (i.e., 2 alarms per window, since the top part can open too) and while the alarm itself certainly works as intended (break the connection, and a loud, piercing alarm is sounded), the peel-and-stick pads on the back do not stick well to every surface

Great alarms and I liked how the smaller piece didn't have to be immediately next to the other for it to recognize it's still there

These alarms work great, however the on/off switch is clearly visible so we have to come up with a way to make it where it couldn’t be off.

Update 7/2018:This is a good door alarm, but imo, it's not loud enough to scare an intruder away.

For safety, and security I would recommend these little alarms to anyone.
