But it's not going to slow down a smart burglar if he can access it.
-
I will say they are very loud, but unless you have a very clumsy burglar that is going to slam the door when they break in then don't waste your money, I returned mine!
-
if you're looking for an alarm to add additional noise to scare a burglar when breaking or prying glass to make think there's alarms or if you live in close proximity to your neighbors or just looking to get a warning when someone is trying to get in then this works perfect
-
If someone hit hard on the glass to break it then it will blow out and make a high volume sound to scare burglar
-
Would it scare off a burglar
-
The good news is, if you put a stick in the sliding window, then you can be sure these alarms will go off whether a burglar were to smash or try to pry open the window.
-
Adds an extra layer of security and is a good deterrent to burglars when they see the dog decals.
-
If the window is broken, they should go off, which MAY help scare off the intruder/burglar, but I'll bet a lot of crooks would not care that much if it doesn't continue for more than the short time these go off
-
Does some burglar have to break the window before sounding the alarm or what here
-
But it's not going to slow down a smart burglar if he can access it.
-
I know it was the sound of this little alarm that scared the burglar away
-
I really wanted to like these as a supplemental security feature (bought 9) but after installing them, they are now all turned off now and nothing more than a security advertisement sticker on my windows (may deter some novice burglars at least?!).
-
If the burglar knows how to disarm it, he can in 5 seconds
-
It took me a while to get the battery alignment correct as there is no sign inside the battery compartment
-
Doesn't work as it should, bought two and use it on the sliding windows, no matter how I shake the windows or slide it , it won't sound the alarm
-
Works as it is supposed to.
-
It isn't sensitive enough when we are mowing or around the area but it worked as it should when we hit our glass window to test it.
-
I hope I never have to find out if they work as that would
-
It works just as it says
-
All 4 sensors seem to work as they should, but have scratches on them
-
And hopefully it will scare a would be intruder.
-
If the window is tapped or broken as in a robbery they will go off, and they are loud.
