As a disabled individual, Dragon is a lifesaver

When first installed, Dragon can be a little sloppy at its job but it learns as it goes, developing a personal profile that increases the accuracy the more that you use it

But if you're using Dragon 12 on Windows 8 fine then you probably aren't using the features that you'd notice

Nuance's tech support told me Dragon 12 is not compatible with Windows 10 and that I would have to either revert to a previous version of Windows or spend another $80 upgrading

(I was a little aggravated with Dragon beginning with version (4 ?), however I did "love" Dragon until I had a problem with hooker, and now with 13 not installing)

Anyway the long and the short is that the new Dragon 13 is excellent

I don't understand how Dragon, an expensive software, can't get its core functionality to work better than Google, who offers a free, simple, web-based solution.

Dragon should give all users of Dragon 13 a free upgrade to Dragon 15 and hopefully that works better

Another thing I didn't face yet, it will also prompt you to "register" the software, i.e. give Dragon online your name and address and email rather than just the installation software key

If you have a repetitive strain injury or just don't type that fast then Dragon might still be worth a look, otherwise keep in mind that any productivity gains you get are frontloaded, and you're going to lose those gains on the back end as you go through and correct all the mistakes that Dragon inserted into your document because the software seems to translate every pause and puff of air as an article or conjunction to be inserted haphazardly in your text.

I had the Dragon Speaking 12 and liked it, but sometimes I found that I had to correct so much, or that it didn't keep up with my dictating speed, that it was easier to type.
