    Dragon NaturallySpeaking Premium 13

    • My experience is limited to a few hours with this software
    • the installation of the Dragon Premium 13.0 was one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had in installing programs into my computer.
    • ——————————————————Dear Nuance, I give you 1 star for finally delivering on your promise of a seamless and productivity-boosting voice dictation experience
    • Everyone I've talked to that has this software has had terrible experience with getting it to work
    • Indeed a user's first experience will be excellent
    • Although some have described this as easy to install and some have described it as a torturous experience, the truth lies somewhere in between.
    • and I have not had great experiences trying the software on the bus/train/coffee shop.
    • Been with this software for a long time and have never had a reliable experience
    • This followed a mixed experience with DNS 11 - buggy at first but way better after the 11.5 patch, but I foolishly and naïvely hoped that Nuance had learned from their previous cascade of negative feedback to make DNS 13 a more user-friendly installation experience.
    • I was previously using Dragon Naturally Speaking 11.0 and am surprised at the noticeable difference in the upgrade to 13.0.The first noticeable difference is my only real criticism - this version took far longer to download than my previous version (and is something other reviewers have noted so apparently it was not an isolated experience). But once installed, everything runs smoothly and seamlessly
    • Tech-support finally got me through that but the experience only makes me wonder all the more if I really had to upgrade to Dragon 13.Dragon 13 is full of bugs and does not work properly with Chrome, Word, or Excel
    • My experience, however, was MUCH more frustrating than hers
    • Horrible experience with Dragon from the outset
    • I am leaving the full content of my earlier review below so that Nuance can see how bad the initial experience can be and, hopefully, consider making that behavior turned off by default, perhaps with a notice to the user in case they want to turn it on
    • Bar none, this is the most outrageous, negative experience I have ever had with a piece of software
    • I had a pretty bad experience with attempting to install DNS 12 from DNS 11, which trashed my DNS 11 speech files after multiple attempts to update them to the DNS 12 format (and therefore I didn't use 12).
    • It is a non starter, literally, stalling & making itself a hellish experience
