Installation was easy, there was no horribly tedious long training process that I expected

Eventually it did install and there were no problems at all with the installation other than very slow processing

After.net InstallShield has finished then the somewhat lengthy process of installing version 13 will occur (in my case, I put it on a laptop with a fairly high chipset, 12 gig of RAM, a secondary SSD drive and a moderately decent motherboard)

I don't know what it will take for Nuance to change their approach, and create a more user-friendly installation process and debugged program, but I'm not optimistic, given that they have heard this complaint for

To their credit, Nuance appears to have made a conscientious effort to trim the size of DNS 13 relative to the code base size of 11 and 12, but they have not addressed the buggy and finicky install process at all.

This process was getting more frustrating by the moment.

I went away several times just to keep myself away from the keyboard and the computer and doing something stupid to interrupt the installation process.

This is a VERY frustrating process.
