But after reading the horrible reviews of the Mac version, I bought this for my PC laptop from work

Where else can you get such aggravating entertainment for such a small price!(I apologize: This review would have been posted faster, but I had to manually type it out.)

I was quite skeptical about this software because of its mediocre average review

For this reason, I am posting this review as a work in progress.

So I'll be honest, I was hesitant to order this based on the mountain of negative reviews here

I usually I ignore the one-star reviews, buy the product anyway, and then never have a single problem like those others have described

I let all the negative reviews keep me from ordering this sooner

DO NOT DIGTIALLY DOWNLOAD hence the bulk of the bad reviews come from this problem

I wasn't originally planning to do a review like

I see so many glowing reviews of NaturallySpeaking 13, but if you're running Windows 8 or 8.1 you are likely to be disappointed with this new version

One of the other reviewers up above remarked on the split reviews of this product - many raving, many ranting - and said: both are true

Do read the negative reviews, in my experience they are 100 percent to the point

it's a product with an impressive history of polarized reviews - many people love it, because for one reason or another the bugs and problematic interactions did not emerge on their system (lucky folks), while other reviews document major problems and very low marks.
