I was put through to tech support.
-
Tech support still would not help
-
Discovered from Tech Support that this is NOT compatible with Word 16; nor is it compatible with the included headset...or the KOSS CS100 headset recommended by Amazon which I purchased separately.

The girl in tech support said "all you have to do is buy a newer version of
-
I asked for her supervisor who called tech support to see if it would help me
-
I called tech support twice and each time the changes they recommended resulted in minimal improvement
-
When I called tech support, it seemed like they weren't very familiar with Windows 10
-
The FIRST update that pops up is a notice that version 13 will be discontinued and lose all tech support in 2019

Tech-support finally got me through that but the experience only makes me wonder all the more if I really had to upgrade to Dragon 13.Dragon 13 is full of bugs and does not work properly with Chrome, Word, or Excel
-
The CD was showing me installation error, had to call tech support to get the installation file.
-
The tech support person indicated that the solution was to turn off the Windows firewall (!!!)
-
As I listened to the tech support person diligently explain why this was just standard procedure, I did not hear a single legitimate reason for this other than that this was what he was reading off of some crib sheet/checklist.
-
After trying to install the product myself for 2 hours I finally cried uncle and called tech support (no toll free line by the way).
-
The tech support person then insisted that our next step was to modify the Windows start-up sequence, essentially disabling startup of most of the startup software.
-
I see this reported on the Dragon website, with no responses from tech support (other than saying change the resolution of your computer, which I tried, and also tried removing from the docking station, and I still was unable to complete the tutorial). The software is also not very good with technical things, like using UNIX via SSH terminals
