dreamGEAR Comfort GRIP Protection for your NEW Nintendo 3DS XL

    • Overall this is a good product with one fairly large design flaw - there is no way to change games without first removing the bottom half piece.
    • Weird as hell design flaw there, but I'm not above doing a little minor modifications :
    • a LOT...spare one small design flaw: It is very easy to accidentally "press" the L & R buttons at the top corners by simply gripping the palm bumps too hard
    • They didnt cut a hole for the game cartridge slot, so you have to take off the case to switch games or cut a hole yourself, very poor design flaw... but the case itself feels nice in the hand and hopefully will reduce hand cramps from holding the smaller size of the 3ds xl.
    • The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is a serious design flaw
    • One major design flaw is that you have to take off the cover to load a new game cartrige
    • This seems like a huge design flaw.
    • If your like me and holding a D's hurts your hands after so long, this is a great help.
    • My son is very clumsy and his ds is 100% protected with this on
    • My ds feels like a controller
    • it does really protect the ds
    • keeps stuff from breaking useful I like it
    • One thing that you don't realize right away based on the product photos though is that the "tabs" that extend under the shoulder buttons make R and L feel like triggers, which can be a bad thing; you don't have tactile feedback of the button press when doing so, and actually the tab kind of gets in the way sometimes
    • Would never buy again due to issue with fitting over the top L and R buttons, it either sticks or doesnt sit over it.
    • The case also annoyingly covers up all the trigger buttons with it's own button pad, making it extremely hard to L-Target things in games like MH4U.
    • In that area of the 3ds, the rubber isn't snug, so that it can still have its open/close functionality, and because all the shoulder buttons are covered in loose rubber you may miss L,R, ZL, and ZR inputs.
    • The L/R buttons are are sometimes too stiff and will be held down or too sensitive that it will just activate on it's own, thus you'll probably have to make more holes in order to enjoy this product
    • Comfortable and soft with good protection (L and R buttons would be most vulnerable but are fully covered.)Provides a decent palm offset for a more ergonomic use
    • The bulge on the back that works ad a finger rest also allows you to use the L and R triggers like a normal controller.
    • Very comfortable, but I'm confused as to why it doesn't have a cut out for the game card slot.
    • On a personal note, my hands are prone to cramping after just a few minutes of gameplay on my DS XL, now I can comfortably enjoy gaming for as long as I want!
