dreamGEAR Comfort GRIP Protection for your NEW Nintendo 3DS XL
Color:Black
A silicone cover that wraps around the New 3DS XL that helps to protect the platform from accidental drops and scratches. Features an ergonomic design for maximum comfort.
Comfortable and soft with good protection (L and R buttons would be most vulnerable but are fully covered.)Provides a decent palm offset for a more ergonomic use
One thing that you don't realize right away based on the product photos though is that the "tabs" that extend under the shoulder buttons make R and L feel like triggers, which can be a bad thing; you don't have tactile feedback of the button press when doing so, and actually the tab kind of gets in the way sometimes
Great feeling, good grip, nice protection and ability to stand the device on the case
Adds much needed hand holds and offers decent protection while providing a nice feeling and grippy surface
In that area of the 3ds, the rubber isn't snug, so that it can still have its open/close functionality, and because all the shoulder buttons are covered in loose rubber you may miss L,R, ZL, and ZR inputs.
The item arrives on time, it has good quality and good price, people who received it, was very happy with this gift.
It doesn't really add anything in the comfort department but the rubber is of good quality.
The L/R buttons are are sometimes too stiff and will be held down or too sensitive that it will just activate on it's own, thus you'll probably have to make more holes in order to enjoy this product
Very comfortable, but I'm confused as to why it doesn't have a cut out for the game card slot.
ok quality good fit and has stopped a few breaks from dropping
It is a loose fit, flimsy material that does not stay on or fit well.
I love the soft, squishy material because it feels so comfortable to hold
there is no opening for the cartridge and the material is flimsy and not well fitted
But it's not for me, I just don't like touching this material.

On mine, the top cover didn't fit quite right and the Z/back buttons weren't working right.
The top cover doesn't fit near as well, which is why I don't use it, but that's not what I was buying it for anyway
One of the best features is that this case comes in two parts--one for the bottom and one for the top cover, which allows the user to display the graphics and colors of the new 3DS covers while protecting the bottom part of the console.
Removing the top cover fixed the problem, but left me without protection.
I don’t even see the need to cut out a slot for the game which in my opinion, makes the cover look not so nice
It also doesn't have the most important thing about 3ds
Wow, not a single bad thing to say about this product-it's amazing!!
I love this thing, I had dreamgear with my old 3ds xl as well
Only bad thing about this case is that the card slot holder is not cut out, so if you want to change games you have to take the left lower corner off, its not real hard to do though.
The only bad thing about it is that it attracts animal hair like crazy
The bulge on the back that works ad a finger rest also allows you to use the L and R triggers like a normal controller.
One thing that you don't realize right away based on the product photos though is that the "tabs" that extend under the shoulder buttons make R and L feel like triggers, which can be a bad thing; you don't have tactile feedback of the button press when doing so, and actually the tab kind of gets in the way sometimes
and I'll probably eventually end up buying one of the harder plastic ones, because this is way too soft (it's not solid rubber, it's like a waffle/honey-comb thing
Unlike others on the marker that are hard plastic with a thin layer of rubber coating (that will most likely wear off over time
Would never buy again due to issue with fitting over the top L and R buttons, it either sticks or doesnt sit over it.
The bulge on the back that works ad a finger rest also allows you to use the L and R triggers like a normal controller.
(The lack of hole for a game slot doesn't cause me too much trouble.)My biggest complaint is that the triggers are a little unwieldy to press, especially when a trigger is the sprint button and I'll be holding it for a long time

The only drawback to this grip is the lack of the game slot
Only downside is the lack of opening for the game cart.
On a personal note, my hands are prone to cramping after just a few minutes of gameplay on my DS XL, now I can comfortably enjoy gaming for as long as I want!
I chose 4 stars because the grip lacks a slot for game cartridges
Great product, fits perfectly, feels great, I like it even more than I thought I would; however, minus one star for having to go to Staples and buy an X-acto knife to cut a hole for game cartridges myself
The ports are all in the right places and the rear R and L buttons are still sensitive and it gives those buttons a nice trigger effect
Very comfortable, but I'm confused as to why it doesn't have a cut out for the game card slot.

If your like me and holding a D's hurts your hands after so long, this is a great help.
It doesn't get rid of hand cramps, but it certainty helps

Really helps with the hand cramping when playing for extended periods of time
It felt nice in his hands, but he kept taking it off because it causes the buttons to stick on and interfered with game play

The one issue I have with it is it makes the L and R buttons feel too mushy
And when I do press the L and R buttons myself let's say when playing smash bros, the buttons stay pressed when all I do is gently pull the rubber triggers
