dreamGEAR Comfort GRIP Protection for your NEW Nintendo 3DS XL

    • I see some other people say that they tore their grip up taking it on/off to take out/put in new games but the weaker plastic parts that would break easily are on the hinges and you don't need to mess with that to change out games, just pop out the left corner, change games, and pull it back over
    • Much better than any hard plastic grip I've tried
    • I still give it 3 star because the soft plastic is a great idea to protect your New 3DS console system.
    • Unlike others on the marker that are hard plastic with a thin layer of rubber coating (that will most likely wear off over time
    • I moved to a hard plastic grip, and am much happier.
    • This rubber grip is substantially warmer in my hand than the hard plastic of the circle pad was, but after a getting used to period I don't really notice it anymore
    • And it is hard plastic
    • it hold up so well because of the added hard plastic mold that is inside the foam cover , this just has the semi soft plastic so you
    • it hold up so well because of the added hard plastic mold that is inside the foam cover , this just has the semi soft plastic so you
    • and I'll probably eventually end up buying one of the harder plastic ones, because this is way too soft (it's not solid rubber, it's like a waffle/honey-comb thing
    • One thing that you don't realize right away based on the product photos though is that the "tabs" that extend under the shoulder buttons make R and L feel like triggers, which can be a bad thing; you don't have tactile feedback of the button press when doing so, and actually the tab kind of gets in the way sometimes
    • Would never buy again due to issue with fitting over the top L and R buttons, it either sticks or doesnt sit over it.
    • The case also annoyingly covers up all the trigger buttons with it's own button pad, making it extremely hard to L-Target things in games like MH4U.
    • In that area of the 3ds, the rubber isn't snug, so that it can still have its open/close functionality, and because all the shoulder buttons are covered in loose rubber you may miss L,R, ZL, and ZR inputs.
    • The L/R buttons are are sometimes too stiff and will be held down or too sensitive that it will just activate on it's own, thus you'll probably have to make more holes in order to enjoy this product
    • Comfortable and soft with good protection (L and R buttons would be most vulnerable but are fully covered.)Provides a decent palm offset for a more ergonomic use
    • The bulge on the back that works ad a finger rest also allows you to use the L and R triggers like a normal controller.
    • Very comfortable, but I'm confused as to why it doesn't have a cut out for the game card slot.
    • On a personal note, my hands are prone to cramping after just a few minutes of gameplay on my DS XL, now I can comfortably enjoy gaming for as long as I want!
    • keeps stuff from breaking useful I like it
