The Max-Grip Jazz III combines the Classic Jazz III shape with our cutting-edge Max-Grip technology. This non-slip grip is molded into the entire gripping surface for incredible control while the tip features the same sharp and bevele...
The grip is great and they have a wonderful, mellow attack which is perfect for most kinds of jazz.
The pick has a tight fast attack, but it's way too small
they are nice picks for fast attack and accuracy and the grip on them is stellar
The grip is fantastic, the pick will NOT corrode from pick slides, the sharp point gives you better attack and if you need to play fast it helps with that
They are basically the classic Jazz III but with some texturized grip, which works really well
Although I love the regular Dunlop Jazz III picks (especially for single-note lines and brief, intermittent chordwork)the Dunlop Max Grip pick does not work for me
If you like the regular jazz III then you will really enjoy these, great feel and really stick to your fingers
I love the Jazz III style picks because I always end up "shredding" when I am using them
These will not wear down which is amazing and they have all the same great qualities as all the other jazz III's
I don't think there's a better guitar pick on the market than Dunlop 471R3C Max Grip Jazz III
Dunlop makes one of the finest guitar picks in the Jazz III series
A Jazz III- sized pick (smaller than a common-sized guitar pick) that works better for me because the grip nubs make it easier to keep it in the proper angle/position
These things add up to a more confident guitar player and thus a better player
Before I did not like hard guitar picks but these won me over; the grip is amazing and the sound is clear
You have a bit of a heavy pick hand at times, and while you like the tone and feel you get from that, you still want note definition and clarity
Not all bass players want a Flea and the slap-happy tone
The material the pick is made of causes a warm darker tone when playing.
I find the Dava master control more to my liking for most things, but I still use the jazz III's from time to time when I just want a simple clean pick tone.
As someone else points out, you'd imagine that they would just wreck your tone when it comes to playing clean chords, but a slight adjustment of your technique can fix this
as though it's plucking the strings, rather than sliding off and this, gives you a better sense of where the strings are*Pick gives off a brighter and definitively louder sound*Great for both chord playing and riffsSo now, here are some unbiased features of this
but if I were pressed to form an opionion on that, I might say these were a tiny bit brighter sounding.
then I was expecting did not want them to big o well ship
and I find that the grip section seems to make a weird sound when it runs over the strings.
Really disliked the sound these picks gave with my guitar.
My personal issues, I have large hands that tend to sweat easily
My hands get sweaty if I play a lot, and I can never hold onto them
I have numb right hand fingers from a back injury and these picks stay where I want them, between my finger and thumb and not on the floor or someone's lap
I have numb right hand fingers from a back injury and these picks stay where I want them, between my finger and thumb and not on the floor or someone's lap
The only issue I had with the original is that they could become rather slippery if my hands became sweaty
