Personally I will use the Isiler whenever I need an extra burner to complement my gas stove, since it fits compactly in a lower kitchen cabinet, slid in on its edge, against the cabinet's side wall.

If those aren't enough reasons to love this induction burner, there's one more thing: nothing burns on and clean up is an absolute breeze.

Used it for bakers chocolate and also for a warm burner for a large gathering freeing up a stove burner for other work...was excellent

My daughter is a chef, and there are many time when an extra burner comes in handy, especially when cooking for a crowd.

I shall give updates, if I find them necessary, as to continued performance and longevity, but it is my instinct that this is one of the best choices I have ever made in terms of having a good, high quality accessory burner to supplement my stove.
