I'll admit, I'm a huge fan of Dwight Yoakam, but even if you're not a fan you will love this album

I can now say I have a favorite Dwight Yoakam album

If you like loud, overproduced Nashville/corporate cross-over pseudo-country pop, you will not like this album

It is not a greatest hits album

This is probably the best album Dwight has done.

If you like Dwight Yoakam's voice, you will love this album.

I'm not a huge country music fan, but this is in my top 5 country albums list -- no question.

This is a fantastic album, and if you have ever had the chance to see Dwight

Much like Big Star's first live album, Yoakam's latest brings a whole new perspective to songs that seemed fully played out in their original productions.

GREAT ALBUM!

The CD is a "greatest hits" album of sorts but is done in such a way that all of the songs seem re-born - the Cryin'songs make the tears come harder, the lovin' songs make the lovin' seem longer and the realness of his singing and playing makes you glad for the dust on his cowboy boots

This album is simply fantastic, I borrowed it from our public library thinking the packaging and label looked like something home-

Almost all of Mr. Yoakam's albums are top

The completely unaccompanied vocal on Guitars Cadillacs that closes the album is utterly stunning.

However, it's unfortunate that none of the songs from the great album Gone made their way onto this CD

The song selections are great and this is one of my favorite albums

then lost it, I recently replaced it and it's every bit as good as it was the first time I owned it.

And the sound mixing of the guitar is as close to perfect as you will hear this side of a Norman Blake recording.
