Good thing we have another printer that produces clean copies where I can print something if it is an important document.

This thing worked like champ, worked right out of the box and costed a HECK of a lot cheaper than if you went with the manufacturer version.

However, the toner works fine with the existing Brother drum unit.

If you need perfect printing, you may want to consider buying an OEM part.

These tabs do something to help with cleaning/print quality, I think.

All in all it has been printing excellent so far except recently I printed out about 50 pages in a row and the printer suddenly started to jam and make all sorts of creaking noises when I tried to print.

The first order was fine but the second order was terrible because two drums of DR 420 were the poor quality of printing

To test if it was the new toner cartridge or the new drum units that were at fault I also tried the new toner in my old drum unit, and the old drum unit printed as dark as expected
