• Reviews around space (5.00 of 5)

    EA Sports Active 2 - Xbox 360

    • refused to register correctly, and its not the floor space i have 16' of floor space available in front the TV
    • It would probably better if the calorie achievements were spaced out a little bit further: i.e. every 500 calories
    • I will say that as noted above, there is some issues with Kinect tracking at times, but I've found that if you have the proper amount of space (I have to move the couch back) the sensor actually does an impressive job in tracking what you are doing, that being said I think this game prefers a little more space than some other Kinect games as it does have to track you in many different positions.
    • For EA Sports Active to start working 'properly', make sure you have sufficient back space
    • SURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH PLAY SPACE
    • If you don't have enough space, ignore that and adjust it down so you can see yourself when lying down (don't do it too much - it probably still needs to see your head for jumping).
    • Then make sure Kinect is at least 4 feet off the ground, and has at least 8 feet of clear space in front of it
    • This is probably the biggest shortcoming of most Kinect games at the moment, and that is that the space to the sides (as you face the sensor) is usually enough, but you need more space at the back
    • but to say that the games junk is just dumb because me and my fiancé have had minor if any issues with this game.1.The menu interface is a bit jumpy so use the controller when you can we did.2.You "NEED" the adequate clear space the game requires it to play at the caliber you are seeking
    • I'm using this height because we originally had it connected to the Xbox in the bedroom and the TV stand in there is higher off the ground and not as much clear space
    • From all the negative reviews i saw all you need is enough space
