I still consider it a significant design flaw that the EBL charger will not charge a fully discharged EBL battery.

The workaround is to get copper wire and "jumpstart" each battery that is not detected (jumpstart by holding - to - and + to + using a copper wire with a known good battery for about 30 seconds...this sometimes takes multiple attempts...a terrible design flaw

EBL customer service has been in touch with me about the "newer" charger having a design flaw and the reason for the poor LCD screen

Seems like a pretty serious design flaw to me, but I may have to keep it anyway because I can't find another charger that has the capacity I need.
