    • I was using a cheap D rechargeable battery and after a week they started to leak.

    • a NiMH Rayovac (3000mAh) or Energizer (2500mAh) which are both fake D cells and should be illegal.

    • And the 9 V adapter broke off when I was pulling out the battery
