-
My previous charger would accept batteries only in pairs, refused to charge batteries that weren't fully discharged, and took a long time.
-
works with AAA & AA rechargeable batteries great always have charged batteries at hand
-
This will put enough of a charge on the dead battery for this charger to detect and start charging.
-
I like the adjustable slide that adjust to all popular rechargeable batteries, even 9v
-
The replacement started began not charging some batteries after the warranty period again expired.
-
The batteries charges fine and test fine
-
These are great batteries
-
Love rechargeable batteries
-
They never tell you, all batteries are defective and unchargeable with this charger, I bought two of these worthless chargers and not one of the dozens of batteries I put in them will charge, even batteries barely used will not charge up and show as defective in these units
-
After 7 days in the trail cam, there wasn't enough battery life left to display the readout on the cam to let me know how much battery life it was reading
-
The batteries got hot, but nothing like before.
-
These are the worst rechargeable batteries I have ever purchased
-
After a year's worth of use we find that the unit constantly tells us that a battery is bad one day and will not charge it, then the next day tells us the battery is good and will charge it
-
So at this point the problem may be the first batteries we purchased, not the charger
-
WELL, the new one also shows the batteries upside down
-
This charger will inspect the battery, if at all possible revive the battery if it has fallen to
-
Great batteries, worked out of the box
-
They work what else can be said, they are only batteries
-
These are great rechargeable batteries.
-
This review is regarding the batteries.
-
So, I am left with a worthless charger and 4 "C" batteries that I can no longer charge
-
The batteries themselves work good, but they feel cheaply made
-
I think the machine is bad and ruined my batteries.
-
Works great, independent, intelligent battery charging.
-
This is my second review on EBL-906 smart battery charger
-
and they would burn up batteries and would not charge as many different ones like this one will
-
So far one battery doesn't even work
-
Good battery life and fast recharge time
-
These are some of the poorest rechargeable batteries I have ever purchased
-
By far the best battery charger I have ever owned, charges fast and my favorite is that it discharges old batteries that have been laying around for a while
-
Does a great job of charging, not so fast as to overheat the batteries
-
I had one of my bait wells running for close to 24 hours before the batteries went dead
-
I have a pet toy that runs on these bad boys, he kills the batteries in approx 2 days
-
The batteries don't get hot and you can just leave them in till you want to use them.
-
Great batteries, hold a good long charge for our doggie door!
-
Actually drained batteries
-
The batteries don't work for long at all.
-
EBL batteries and one of them leaked and took some of the silver coating off of the charger
-
The batteries do become warm in this charger, whereas they do not in the portable charger
-
Good batteries
-
I bought these to use on my Coleman LED lantern, the 6v rechargeable battery with the lantern does not last long
-
I thought my charger might be acting weird, so I charged other batteries just fine, including other C batteries of a different brand.
-
Love these batteries
-
We switched the batteries out with fresh non-EBL batteries and the microphones worked fine
-
Today I found the batteries overheating minutes after I put them
-
It doesn't matter to me that the instructions say the batteries getting so hot was normal-they were STILL hot enough to burn your hands if you immediately tried to remove them from the charger, and that to me is a safety issue
-
These batteries are very reliable
-
these are great batteries and so is the price
-
The good news is the batteries appear to work great, bought them to replace all the regular batteries in the smoke
-
also has the trickle charge , keeping the battery fully charged in the chargerTells u the battery is too dead to charge ... and the feature of this battery is damaged I'll try to fix it great information
-
Do not know if possibly I received faulty 2 batteries.
-
They replaced the bad batteries and these are working fine!
-
We had a baby and apparently the D battery is the favorite in all of his vibrating seats and swings
-
This really is a "quick" Made sort work of our 9 volt, C and D size solar/rechargeable batteries.
-
The top battery will just fall out
-
Sure, you have environmental benefits by reusing these batteries, but as an accountant I (a) really like the decreased cost of the batteries in comparison to how many times I get to use them, and (b) it saves me trips to the store or ordering regular size D batteries here on Amazon.
-
Good batteries
-
Good batteries
-
Now have 2 items totally dead, as well as 8 batteries totally dead.
-
and maybe that it could hold more than 4 batteries, but honestly it works just fine
-
These batteries work great!!
-
Make no mistake, these batteries are NOT being abused.
-
A very versatile battery charger that charges pretty much every available rechargeable battery on the market.
-
A very smart battery charger and conditioner
-
good batteries
-
I like that I can discharge the batteries first and then charge them to a full charge
-
and I notice the batteries do not get hot while charging as in some chargers
-
Granted, this is the first universal smart battery charger I have
-
Good batteries
-
, EBL has offered to send a replacement battery free of charge to replace the battery that failed.
-
However, I wouldn't advise these batteries for serious use, like for baby or medical products
-
The name "Smart Quick Battery" is a bit misleading, however
-
These have replaced the non-chargeable batteries in my smoke and CO alarms.
-
The button on the side also drains all of the batteries and then recharges them, a useful feature for Ni-Cd batteries to ensure that they are completely dead before recharging, or for reviving old batteries that may not charge otherwise
-
poor quality batteries
-
Great batteries for flashlights and kids toys.
-
Battery's fit well and the adjustable part is pretty easy to use
-
The batteries seems to work as expected
-
Unfortunately I have to use the batteries from the same manufacture but the batteries are too expensive
-
The batteries of course get warm from charging, but the charger did not heat up noticeably.
-
It can charge almost any commonly available battery size
-
Some batteries were faster than others
-
I love rechargeable batteries and these are my go to brand
-
These are really good 9V batteries, much better than any of the 9V Rechargeable that I used
-
Moral of the story is buy good batteries
-
Good Battery!!!
-
I was able to charge my batteries and it looks like I can charge batteries of every size so I will be purchasing more rechargeable batteries and lessening my carbon footprint.
-
This is the fastest battery charger I have ever used
-
The test of a good battery is its reserve
-
I have some older 9VNiMH Die Hard brand batteries that this charger wouldn't even recognize, while my other charger does
-
These batteries do work well when fully charged up
-
Hold good charge and last between charges as well as fresh batteries.
-
For the price it's an excellent product... the tabs that hold the batteries are just a little cheap,,, but for the price you're
-
I wish it was able to handle 18650 batteries as well.
-
Give me great battery life, but after each use I charge them
-
Great battery charger
-
Only place to buy the best batteries
-
Works okay with inexpensive batteries but is far better with top of the line products.
-
You will most likely damage the battery as you try to remove it since it will be such a tight fit, if you can get it in at all.
-
Great fully packed batteries
-
Super batteries
-
2 batteries are leaking after charging them 3 times.
-
I got these with the recharger, so either that is broken or these batteries are just garbage, either way, I am not happy about the situation.
-
Nevertheless, rechargeable batteries are a great economic advantage over throw-aways
-
Great batteries for the Trail Cams
-
The charging time, being extended, tends to make the batteries get somewhat warm, so the batteries need to be checked once in a while to make sure they don't get too hot.
-
The name "Smart Quick Battery" is a bit misleading, however
-
I have used it on and off for the last few days at about 1 hour each and the batteries are still going strong!
-
The EBL charger is a smart charger that will protect your batteries
-
Wonderful battery charger.
-
Good batteries.
-
If I had been planning on using the bad batteries when I really needed them, and if I hadn't checked them first, it could have been quite inconvenient to discover I had no power at that point
-
To remedy this, I place the battery in the bay and then move the "spring loaded" point up to the base of the battery and shove a folded up scrap of paper between the point and the unit, so that it holds the battery in tight and can charge.
-
No low battery alarms in the four months since install
-
It does not shut off when batteries are charging and batteries get EXTREMELY HOT!
-
very good rechargeable batteries let me save my money
-
These are some great batteries
-
Review update: seller replaced the bad battery and everything is working fine again.
-
Haven't tried 9V, but it fits AA, AAA, and C batteries very well.
-
I have had actual rapid chargers and the batteries would end up junk quickly, in my opinion quick is definitely not always better in this case
-
Great little battery charger.
-
Excellent battery charger for the price
-
and I can estimate how long it takes to top the battery off when they are partially discharged once I have a baseline time from empty
-
The batteries have held a charge very well and I have only needed to use the charger maybe a dozen times.
-
It also has a plastic hatch to shut in case you fear exploding batteries.
-
These batteries are awesome
-
Need to buy the right battery charger to get the full charge.
-
Great battery, gives longer use of entrainment devices.
-
I have an EBL 906 charger and the 6 'dead' batteries error out seconds after being inserted into the charger
-
Very good rechargeable batteries.
-
It recharges regular rechargeables fine but my last recharger would also recharge standard batteries as well.
-
Now have 2 items totally dead, as well as 8 batteries totally dead.
-
I'm using the batteries in a 2 c cell maglite and so far they work fine.
-
Very easy to use, Large battery compartment
-
These batteries are AWESOME
-
The top battery will just fall out
-
batteries got pretty hot
-
I can now finally charge all my rechargeable batteries that I bought a while ago works great
-
Very bad batteries
-
I'm only on the second charge and these batteries seem to work well.
-
On the next 3 charges the batteries go hot about 3 hrs
-
The next 8 hours, the batteries were getting warmer with the charger.
-
GREAT BATTERY CHARGER
-
The batteries are a little hard to get into the slots but it work well.
-
Update: After they read this review, the promptly contacted me and replaced the bad battery at no charge
-
One set charges while the other is in the swing (because you don't want to be stuck with a crying baby and dead batteries!)
-
And 4 batteries are enough for me
-
These batteries work very well but I haven't had a chance to test them out on something that was being used constantly like a remote control car or radio
-
Great battery, just bought 4 more.
-
I know that batteries get WARM while charging, but not only did the batteries get really hot in your charger, the whole charger got very hot
-
I suspect it's not just me, but that the batteries were just defective.
-
Good rechargeable batteries saves me a lot of money for my Christmas village
-
Outstanding battery charger
-
Great batteries if you get the good ones
-
work great will be buying more did not even have to charge and the coolest packaging to protect the batteries.
-
These batteries work as well as the "Use once, discard" batteries sold by almost everyone but unlike these fancy batteries, the EBL Rechargables can be "refilled" and used again-and again-and again
-
These batteries are 100% CRAP!!!
-
These batteries were used one time and failed to recharge
-
The product they are used in (Little Einsteins crib soother) has had reviews complaining that it drains batteries
-
It also detected a few bad batteries which I "verified" with the other brand charger
-
Very nice high quality batteries.
-
The charger is fast and it has a neat feature of discharging the batteries completely before they are recharge, This helps with keeping the batteries, fresh, lasting longer and holding a better charge
-
These batteries where cold from delivery so factor that into the time
-
Usually if you buy a cheap brand battery in the store that's not rechargeable they die quickly
-
This charger will inspect the battery, if at all possible revive the battery if it has fallen to
-
Somewhat expensive, but true rechargeable C batteries
-
I didn't determine the battery was bad until too late to return.
-
Defects in the more costly charger destroyed too many NiMH batteries, and poor product support from the manufacturer was what caused me to try the EBL unit.
-
After a year's worth of use we find that the unit constantly tells us that a battery is bad one day and will not charge it, then the next day tells us the battery is good and will charge it
-
This charger works for me for all my M2cpower (good value) batteries.
-
The batteries seem great except for the one bad one which seems to have been an outlier.
-
Too many reviews of overheating batteries!
-
Great batteries, good price will buy more as needed
-
Charger works great for odd sized batteries.
-
I was using a cheap D rechargeable battery and after a week they started to leak.
-
YEAH great batteries!
-
The batteries are longer than a normal C battery so they do not work for the intended application
-
Works really quickly and makes sure he always has fresh batteries ready so he can be entertained when I don't want play fetch for the 700th time
-
Excellant batteries!!
-
REAL warning to anyone, just received these" so called" type "D" batteries made by "EBL"a totally obscure brand name, to use on a Sangean WFR-28 portable internet radio(radio work beautifully,by the way),i tried to install these 4 batteries in the radio, totally impossible: 3 in the bottom slot and 1 in the above slot, pick up another type"D" and put it side to side on a flat surface,i could not believe my eyes, there is at least 1/2 mm discrepancy between the "EBL" battery and the Duracell one,the EBL one being taller by almost 1/2 mm,i am returning these totally useless batteries,i am pulling my hat to this company and his technicians !!!
-
It does not monitor them, like it does the other batteries.
-
I really like the flexibility of this charger - can charge 1 battery or fill the slots (even charges different sizes simultaneously.
-
It works as expected and I am really enjoying always having batteries charges as well as the savings from not buying batteries each time I go to the store.
-
Useless batteries.
-
So far it has done what its suppose to and that is charge both my AA & AAA batteries,One thing I did notice is that the store purchased AA batteries like Energizer get hot during charging but the more expensive SunLabz that I purchased here on Amazon stay a little cooler and charge to their near capacity
-
Initially all these batteries worked great, but now they funny seem to last that long
-
Or if you are just not interested in running out of good batteries anymore when you need them most these are for you
-
Anyways led claims battery's fully charged after little while
-
This is one of the best battery chargers I have ever used or owned, I even bought another model made by
-
I would highly recommend these batteries to anyone.
-
Updated Review: I've added two stars to my original review, as the company replaced four out of five of the 'bad' batteries upon the original posting of my one star review.
-
I use them for my i robot roomba virtual wall,The batteries have been working fine for six months without charging
-
The cylindrical batteries work great tho.
-
I bought these for my smoke alarms because I read that mine were probably chirping due to weak batteries even though the batteries weren't "dying"....
-
The batteries haven’t gone done at all very good.
-
should have options to renew a dead battery
-
Short out the rejected battery with a known good battery by touching the positive ends to each other and the negative ends to each other.
-
The seller replaced the defective batteries and both charged up perfectly.
-
It's a Great product but you have to have the RIGHT batteries that actually work correctly with it
-
I'm really enjoying my reusable batteries and trusting this charger last a lifetime.
-
EBL promptly replaced the dead batteries, let's see how the new ones hold up.
-
2018Their customer service people contacted me and sent replacement for the bad batteries.
-
The first slot stopped working after 2 months.... display flashes as battery is charging, even when no batteries are in the charger.
-
Doesn't give as strong of power as a non-rechargeable battery.
-
great long lasting batteries!
-
mine would only chirp when it got cold and the "weak" batteries "failed" a little bit.
-
In addition, I like the fact that it has a discharge function that allow the battery to completely discharge before recharging, useful for older NiCad battery but also for NiMH to restore full capacity
-
All but one battery worked well
-
Most "dead" rechargeable batteries from EBL take 4-6 hours or less to charge
-
I did the shorting by setting the charged battery and the dead battery negative ends on a piece of conductive metal.
-
It looks to me from those HORRIBLE non-directions that my batteries are all duds - which they are NOT
-
Good batteries and the price is reasonable.
-
Excellent universal battery charger
-
I thought this was supposed to be an intelligent battery charger where I didn't have to calculate how long to charge my battery for maximum benefit
-
It could have been defective 2800 batteries.
-
Nice battery charger, fits alot of batteries at the same time and clearly shows the progress of the charging.
-
I would highly recommend this item to anybody looking to purchase an inexpensive yet versatile battery charger and rechargeable batteries as this is the simplest machine that I have seen out there.
-
In the end just a really cheap battery charger
-
Love that when it's done charging the battery it switches the charging mode to a trickle and the battery remain very cool instead of really hot like in my other generic AA charger
-
Love that when it's done charging the battery it switches the charging mode to a trickle and the battery remain very cool instead of really hot like in my other generic AA charger
-
Good rechargeable battery and good for flash lights
-
Used it to rejuvenate some completely discharged old AA ni-mh batteries, not expecting much success but after charging then using the discharge function and charging them again the batteries are fine.
-
I threw out all my Energizer rechargeables because I thought the batteries were bad.
-
This is the Best Battery Charger I've had, and I have bought several of these before
-
All my batteries still work great and the charger is in top condition, I was excited to see this on Amazon and will be buying some batteries and a charger soon for my son now that he has his own home
-
UpdAted 1/21/18The company replaced all four of my defective batteries
-
Great universal battery charger, got it because I needed a charger that would be able to charge all of different types and sizes of batteries, and this one fit the bill
-
It didint ruin my rechargeable batteries yet
-
The batteries are more expensive but they last for years and years
-
Love being able to keep all my EBL rechargeable batteries ready
-
I've had good success with this product until recently it smelled like batteries gone rancid and a odd burning smell was coming from this charger I immediately unplugged not knowing if it would start sparking or not
-
I like the fact that I can charge batteries singly rather than in sets of 2 like some of my other previous chargers.
-
Great batteries - ran the radio 4x longer than the ones they replaced.
-
one battery went dead won,t charge
-
These batteries work great and save money.
-
This EBL model replaced the Eveready battery charger that broke after only a few weeks.
-
Either I don't understand something here or the batteries are NOT worth the gamble.
-
I highly recommend them to anyone wanting batteries
-
¡ Good batteries...!
-
Compared to the brand that I use in AA and AAA sizes, I'm not impressed with the product.11/29/15 Update - Shortly after posting my initial review, I was contacted by an EBL customer service representative who offered to replace the original batteries with another set or refund my money
-
Would not recommend these batteries at all
-
Useless batteries IMO.
-
Great battery charger
-
worst battery.
-
The EBL charger seems like a good product but, the batteries are poor
-
Good batteries - recharge, hold, and last long!
-
Quickly charges and screen is very informative but suggestion, take off the cover so your batteries don't overheat and explode.
-
I assume I have a few bad batteries or these are just junk.
-
The batteries work very well.
-
The batteries work very well.
-
Nice battery charger
-
Videos use more battery life but well worth it either way
-
I had charged about a dozen batteries with it and it worked fine then just quit.
-
and it continues to work well, no issues - recharges batteries!
-
Excellent batteries the hold a charge for a long time
-
not works very well , for some battery is hard to chargebut for seller's good attitude
-
I love my rechargeable batteries, technology is great
-
Great batteries.
-
Also, it didn't satisfyingly hug some batteries; they felt loose in the charger.
-
good batteries that charge well with a ni-mh charger.
-
Update: they sent me an email asking if they could replace my dead battery.
-
great batteries for my new radioRead more
-
This and a rechargeable battery broke my torch.
-
Good quality batteries for a good price
-
Excellent batteries.
-
I switched positions and played around, and still, the same battery always shows "err".
-
I had purchased the non-smart battery charger from this company (along with 4 C rechargeable batteries EBL
-
Works great even on stubborn batteries.
-
Good batteries
-
It's difficult to find rechargeable 9V batteries, and considering the price of buying new batteries, these batteries are $$$ savers.
-
new EBL 906 Universal LCD Smart Quick Battery Charger and Discharger will not fully discharge or fully charge my Ni-Cad
-
They work as we expected them to.
-
I have inserted two aaa and two aa batteries that all need charging, as well as the 9v, and have NO idea of their status
-
Still working as of 12/2/14.
-
n’t know if any rechargeable batteries will work for my can and I’m stuck with the charger.
