What I liked the most is the "Discharge" function and the intelligent charging mode which automatically stops charging when battery is full

The first slot stopped working after 2 months.... display flashes as battery is charging, even when no batteries are in the charger.

I love that it is a smart charger, so it tells me when each individual battery is fully charged versus guessing.

Would not recommend if charging C batteries.

My first EBL 906 gives "error" in the LCD display when known good AA and AAA batteries were being charged, and LED doesn't turn off after 2 days charging a pair of 9V batteries 280mAh

They worked just ok for about a month, just enough time for the return window to end then they literally only held the charge for about 30 mins tops

The LCD tally illustrates relative charge level for the individual batteries, just like the EBL UT 2100D.

At first the batteries did not last long, it took a few discharge/recharge cycles before they would hold a decent charge

Second issue is the charging of the 9 volts seems like an after thought.

I have dozens of these and they charge perfectly every time and keep their charge well.

These were supposed to be stronger and hold up against the cold better since their charge is stronger

Since slower charging results in longer battery life, I would prefer to charge at 200 mA, and this unit only charges at 1000.

Batteries hold a great charge and work for a long time.

The manual also says "When the battery is fully charged, the charger will turn to a trickle charge, the corresponding battery icon in the LCD will rest, and if all the batteries in the charger are fully charged, the LCD back light will be off" and this doesn't work either

awesome recharger, only wish it came with a 12v adapter as well seeing as how it supports charging from 12v.

Do yourself a favor and buy a better charging unit

I have a variety of types (AAA, AA, C, D, & 9 V) and a variety of rechargeable brands (Eneloop, SunLabz, Amazon, Tenergy, etc.

They work as we expected them to.

I have inserted two aaa and two aa batteries that all need charging, as well as the 9v, and have NO idea of their status

Still working as of 12/2/14.
