I really hope a firmware update can fix these issues because I want to love these new dots like I do the 2nd gen.

The dots looked cheap before, now it just looks like a smaller version of the Echo.

I found out a week later that they were having a promotion for a free dot if you upgraded your subscription, so I cashed that in and received a second dot for free

If you want though you have the option to add a Bluetooth Speaker or a Wired 35mm Cable Speaker to the Dot 3rd Gen. Amazon has really improved this Echo Dot and it sounds slightly better then the Google Home Mini

I’m really loving my new Echo Dot!

I'm really surprised by how much I like the Alexa app (and the Echo Dot), because I'm a little resistant to technology, but it's pretty easy to figure out and feels like a new little buddy in the home.

Don't get me wrong, I love my Echo, and Echo dots; but the price point is still too high.

Although no one else has complained about it that I have read, these new dots won't stay connected to my Bluetooth speakers, while the Fire TV Cube and Dot 2nd gen have kept a connection to those same speakers since day one

I love my echo dot Alexa however the rumors of Alexa constant recording all my conversations makes me uncomfortable FYI

That’s the way to go; I would say, but I still like the Dot and Echo in mono unison as well, depending on the situation obviously

You don't see companies do this very often, offering something inexpensive which could eat shares of their other offerings but thank you Amazon, the dot is now very good and worth owning
