It takes one month before Ecobee generates a data log for energy usage and system performance, but my power company has very good data on my usage for several years that I can access.

The app is very easy to navigate and also they have an amazing dashboard on Ecobee’s website that allows you to get some great data history on usage

When the website goes down, which seems to happen once a month in the middle of the afternoon, you lose data for that time frame

Ecobee's estimates are weeks behind and difficult to decipher.- Signal drops, website, and reboots: The device doesn't appear to auto scan the known wifi connections when a signal drops out, so you lose data for that time frame

If I have to reset and lose all my data, I'll go with Nest

Lastly, when the device "re-calibrates" and/or reboots, you lose data

However the sound quality is tinny - nowhere as good as from a Dot, and it seems to start by itself some times

Good customer support as he had to call the company a couple of times during the installation process

Setting them do as much good as pushing the "close door" button in an elevator, and I'm convinced they are added to give the illusion of the feature actually working and using them

However, I must say the Alexa feature does not work quite as well as with my Echo Dot

This thermostat is as close to perfect as you can get

The replacement thermostats proved there was no wiring faults as they worked just fine when installed.

When I need humidity in my house, my thermostat will turn on the furnace fan and the humidifier to add humidity without heat... as well as with heat, if needed

so it knows what’s going on outside your home as well as

Functionally its great as it’s basically exactly the same as the ecobee 3 but the Alexa portion has horribly implemented

Not as amazing as I'd hoped

but it works 100% of the time for me with Siri, but most of the time Alexa won’t/can’t acknowledge that I even have an ecobee device connected let alone control it

n’t have any connections issues with any device

n’t lean to one side

Please keep in mind that the product is great out of the package, and I actually like the features better than other smart t-stats I’ve seen
