ECOVACS DEEBOT N79S Robot Vacuum Cleaner with Max Power Suction, Alexa Connectivity, App Controls, Self-Charging for Hard Surface Floors & Thin Carpets

    • We were amazed how it was able to fully clean each room
    • I think it's more efficient with the single room cleaning room when your house is big
    • But the main concern we are initially seeing is that it's simply not as smart as the Roomba in terms of cleaning the room.
    • A good choice and value if you don't need a vacuum that maps the room and works best on bare floors.
    • However, it takes too long time to clean the room on auto mode and mostly repeat same area and leave some parts - have it sometime manually navigate to get full cleaning quickly
    • This vacuum does NOT follow a specific pattern to clean your rooms
    • Would be nice to limit which areas and rooms to allow it to clean, because we have to much square footage for one poor little ecovac and some rooms don't need it everyday.
    • I've been watching it cleaning the living room and
    • Not a hard fix but frustrating when it gets stuck trying to go under the couch at night and dies before it even cleans the room
    • Now that I have a Deebot I’d never go without one again! It’s so easy to use, just make sure it’s charged, push the auto button and it will clean the room
    • I can clean my living room, dining room and bathroom on one charge
    • It never completed cleaning a room in its entirety
    • The Deboot negotiates our place and thoroughly cleans the living room, dining room, kitchen, foyer, guest bath, and hallway
    • I've seen it get within 10 feet of its charger, hit a tiny barrier, leave the room, and die somewhere else.3
    • My rooms are completely hair free
    • Using it to clean ours rooms upstairs
    • You'd be surprised what all it picks up even if the room looks clean
    • It cleans my room so quickly
    • and I was quite skeptical of its ability to actually clean each room prior to using it
    • I've used all the modes except for the "clean one room" option because I just haven't yet needed it
    • Put it on, run your errands and your room is clean!
    • Just got it yesterday and out of the box it ran for an hour cleaning our living room (about 600sf, area rug with tassels on low pile carpet) and successfully self docked.
    • So eventually, it will finish cleaning a room or two
    • Since I have a large great room, she gets confused a bit
    • I haven't even programmed it, and it manages to go around the great room just fine, eventually working its way into every corner.
    • It does seem to have a little trouble finding its way back to the charger when cleaning connected (open) rooms.
    • this product is really helpful, it helps me clean my room for me instead of me cleaning it by myself
    • Some settings don't work in certain houses; the single room setting does not work in an open concept as we don't have the ability to close off spaces since there are no doors between rooms2
    • It handles my room transitions like a pro and has no problem with my rugs
    • It cleaned the living room, kitchen, entry hall, halls to the bedrooms and even made its way into the laundry room
    • She will either avoid edges or bump into them and turn away from them, so if you want the edges of a room cleaned you have to do that separately using the app or remote
    • this thing never makes it back to its harder and it only cleans one room..
    • It makes it over threshholds from room to room no problem, and even gets over our large area rug in the living room
    • He cleans room everyday and no dust and hair fly in the
    • My chinchillas kick a lot of debris out of their cage and this helps keep my living room tidy
    • So I think this approach of 'spot cleaning' one or two rooms rather than hoping to do the entire house is a good one
    • Clean edges, spot clean, clean one room, clean the whole house!
    • We use it to clean the living room, dining room and kitchen
