Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - PC

    • Consider this sequence to fight, WOW players, and weep.- Browse through menus to select the one main or two main spells and one back up spell (out of like 20 so far - early ) that you can use during the fight (no way I am going to pause the fight every 3 secs and scroll through menus to select others, this will break the fluidity and the game experience really bad)
    • Also if you have an option, avoid using a 5 year old console... PC gamers will get the best experience, don't doubt it for a second
    • My 3 1/2 year old Dell Studio 7 can play it, but kind of laggy at times (I am sure the experience would be better with a newer machine with appropriate
    • In my opinion, it's unforgettable experiences that make Skyrim a classic game
    • Part of an appeal of anRPG is the variety of choices it gives you that makes it feel so much like a personal, intimate experience - that makes you care
    • As advertised, very good gaming experience
    • As a whole, it was an awesome, addicting, inspiring experience from start to finish
    • Playing the game is an incredible experience
    • Each area you gain experience in has a perk tree that has perks you can access as you gain more skill in that area.
    • It's no patch on the semi-divine RPG experience of Morrowind, but it's possibly the hugest, most engaging experience in the current market
    • I would recommend this fix to others that experience this problem
    • Bethesda's genius lies in distilling these experiences in a way that makes YOU the author
    • The experience of one thing leading to the other felt like something straight out of Tolkien or GRRM
    • Probably, for an optimal gaming experience you may want to just use a controller.
    • I highly recommend this game, if your PC can handle it, it will be a good experience
    • It was a frustrating experience.
    • but I was able to download patches and mods which have enriched the gaming experience.
    • Given how mediocre the experience is though, the question should be "would you want to"?Run-down, some love this game
    • The immersive experience is unbelievable
    • (Read: not even the least bit)Overall, while the menus are a big part of the game, they do not break the experience.
    • You will gain experience in whatever you use, so if you use that two handed hammer with heavy armor and restoration magic (to heal yourself), by level 15 or so you will be 30-40 skill points up in those areas and have access to the corresponding perks in those skill trees.
    • You can get mods free from nexus, steam and other places to enhance your experience in the PC version.
    • I must admit, this disturbed me infinitely less in Fallout 3 and New Vegas, but then again those two RPG's had a compelling world that isn't "seen it all before", and were actually witty in parts and creative, whereas Skyrim's generic medievil fantasy setting and utter lack of any kind of witty dialogue or memorable characters makes this a mediocre RPG experience at best
    • Bethesda's genius lies in distilling these experiences in a way that makes YOU the author
    • You could easily play this on a sub $500 PC if you were frugal about parts and still have a great experience
    • There are plenty of reviews about the graphics and story and other elements of the game, but nothing about the contamination called Steam that ruins the whole experience
    • Skyrim is, in my opinion at least, a fantastic game and the experience it offers is unmatched in the world of gaming
    • I've improved my experience in game by installing all sorts of modifications(thanks to a dedicated community of skilled people).
    • Fantastic single player experience with a ton of replay value as well
    • But it has many improvements that make the game a much better experience.
    • You get more realistic faces, hair, grass, textures, etc so you get a really realistic and immersive experience.
    • As a whole, it was an awesome, addicting, inspiring experience from start to finish
    • A sublime gaming experience not to be missed!
    • No other game offers the deeply satisfying experience that comes with exploring such a vast world
    • If you are looking for the best RPG experience you should get thisThe games minor bugs and small defects are dwarfed by the massive and vibrant world that cries to be discovered.
    • As yet I have experienced neither, maybe I have just been lucky
    • The Art and Technical Direction come together to create a truly memorable experience.
    • I originally got it for the Xbox, it was a great game then without add-ons, but it is really awesome with mods that can change the game play to make it more realistic and a fantastic experience
    • I loved the graphics and experienced few problems
    • I have no doubt that most game "problems" are hardware related, otherwise more people would be reporting a bad experience
    • For example I feel that the "console UI" really hurts the experience of this game; although this can be easily remedied as I will further explain
    • That ruins the experience for Skyrim
    • Also, I recommend that you download mods to enhance your gaming experience
    • If you are one of those, and you don't encounter a problem, and many apparently have not, then you will have a wonderful experience
    • The resulting battle with the Dragon and Skyrim's most powerful mages was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had in any game in recent years
    • In your two handed skill, you may have gained enough experience for one of the entry perks - a simple increase in damage to your two handed weapons use, or less stamina use for power attacks.
    • About 2 years ago, I began to slow my gaming experience down and just started to enjoy the game
    • For me, it was a dull experience
    • Simply put, the questing, the loot system, the extras in the game (enchanting, alchemy, smithing, etc.), the leveling system, the skills system, the monitors, the intuitive AI, the graphics, and the overall gameplay make for an EXTREMELY satisfying experience that I have not experienced in a couple of years.
    • Some of it is professional-level quality and really enriches the experience - especially if you download the UI mod
    • The game offers very wide choices of character customization including a natural skill progression system, huge open spaces and a beautiful visual and audio experience.
    • BUT to get a good experience out of it you MUST do some "MODS".It's only slightly technical - you need "NMM" the Nexus Mod Manager
    • Bethesda's combat system does feel stale when compared to some other top notch RPG's, so it kind of adds to the "mediocre experience all around" motif
    • A huge game like this wlll always have issues so how they are dealt with can make or break the experience
    • amazing!I still find myself hitting 'c' every now and then expecting a fireball, it seems to be the one Oblivion key I can't seem to shake
