Skyrim not only met, but so far has exceeded my expectations

I absolutely love Skyrim.

I still played Skyrim, and I still enjoyed it

So, if my Wood Elf Hunter, armed with a bow, and potions gets crushed by a wandering Giant, I create a Nord Blacksmith Berserker Werewolf armed with a Greatsword and fight to free Skyrim from the Iron Grip of the Empire.

Skyrim however did not amaze me in the way Oblivion did

beautiful mods can enhance Skyrim to the maximum of a games details, letting you feel like your actually in the game the mods for Skyrim are so well created

If you like to read fantasy novels, you're probably going to like Skyrim.

I have games that are two and three years old with better graphics, and while Morrowind's graphics are now dates, there is an artistry and uniqueness to them that Skyrim is lacking

Skyrim just kind of falls flat in the storyline department in my opinion

Skyrim trims the fat from Oblivion while at the same time providing a bigger world, more quests, and greatly improved stealth and melee combat mechanics

There's a nice big world to explore, and to some degree I feel like the developers really tried to expand from the quest grinding of "retrieve X, or kill Y"
