Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi with Tone Wicker

    • Really cool retro, fuzzy tone if you like that stuff.
    • Turning off the tone knob and turning on the wicker unleashes some crazy tones that I am still in the process of exploring, but note that they are epic
    • (like when you turn the volume down on your guitar and lose some of your high-end response - the tone circuitry in most muffs i've played through muffle your tone in a similar respect).with the tone wicker, you can add extra top-end boost
    • Tone off bypasses the tone knob and allows guitar's tone (EQ) to shine through and provides a MAJOR volume boost (cool or annoying depending on how you look at it).
    • I personally enjoy the tone with the wicker switch and tone bypass switched on
    • I love wicker on and tone off.
    • I think this pedal has a better fuzz tone than the current standard Big Muff Pi
    • I really like the tone and aggressive drive of the big muff
    • For this pedal, I'm still working to find the "right" tone for me
    • Turning the tone off and the wicker on will probably work best in recording or at home practicing, but will need to be adjusted or possibly even bypassed when playing live
    • Really cool retro, fuzzy tone if you like that stuff.
    • You can really pull a lot of unique fuzz out of this with the tone wicker to compliment any tone
    • For a long time I've been trying to get classic rock solo tones from tube screamers and line drivers, never realizing a fuzz pedal was all I ever needed
    • wicker.the only reason i was hesitant to buy a muff in the first place was that i think the standard muff tone can be a little muddy and on the bassy side of the tonal palate
    • This is my first guitar pedal, though I might not be able to give comparisons, I can say that this pedal has a great tone
